Sorry I had to leave unexpectedly

Ok it's happenned to us all...the "Sorry I was delayed" and the "Sorry I had to leave unexpextedly". We are playing with a toon who uses the phrases(s) or we have to use them. It is annoying both ways, for the "leaver" and the "left behinds"...no one want to leave an important battle for the critical few seconds. I thought it would be fun if we posted a few of the real excuses. If a crisis occurs in the house you can't always say...."wait a bit I'm on the fourth floor of a building"...you just HAVE to go and sort it out....

SO what is your funniest, strangest, wierdest reason for using one of those phrases????

OR even worse (or better, depending on your point of view) when have you stayed playing to the detriment of the household around you????

I always have to leave to let dog out. And the obvious one, going to the bathroom lol.

The weirdest one? I'm not sure.. I had to leave in the middle of a building to go to walmart once.

i always have to leave to change a diaper..... that just cant wait..... it seems to me that my daughter waits till im in a building on the last floor or fighting the supervisor to do what she has to do.....

My puppy always leaves little "presents" around the house and I always have to clean it in middle of ceo right when it gets to serving or in middle of the first cog battle! It stinks when it happens in 9s because I could get left behind but if carpet stains my mom will throw a tantrum... Sigh

Hmm.. I usually leave to go to the bathroom or to get food.

Sometimes I have to get up and stop my cat from ripping up the rug outside my room because he wants to come in.

And then other times people come over or somebody needs help. I leave for a little, come back, and everybody's dead but me and one other person. Very annoying.

Once my baby had taken the gate down to the bathroom and was playing in the toilet! and while i was cleaning that mess up , she went to the kitchen and squirted out dish soap on the floor!

)Wanna know the weirdest?

One time, it was about 4 am and i was working on my bucks (I needed 8900) and we joined battle, then the invasion ended. So we went through about 2 goggles. I finally threw up my Presentation, said "I'll be right back." and went and took a shower! Came back, and everyone was down about half laff. Lol. I was in the shower atleast 20 minutes.

I just got two new kittens (as you may know) and they run around attacking eachother, and stuff and sometimes I have to break it up cause they are scratching the other kit.

I have dogs & birds so the things with them or parents, but usually I do that quickly enough not to be missed. Most of the time it's because Im freezing up.

The only time I say it is when I get disconnected. =(

Well, definitely not funny, but not weird either...I was in the middle of a VP with my middle son the Sunday before Halloween this past year (2007) when in walks my youngest son, white as a sheet and holding his arm. When you've been a parent for a while (and have seen your share of broken bones), you know that when someone is holding their arm the way he was and is ghost white, that something is broken. I had to leave right then to take him to the ER. He had been wrestling with a friend of his (who is almost half my son's size even though they're the same age!) and his friend fell on him...diagnosis? Broke his wrist in 2 places. Yeah, I felt really bad that I had to abandon everyone in the VP, but my son was my priority. **At least with "casts" today, they put colored bandages over the cast in the color of your choice...he picked black as it went with his Halloween costume! LOL**

Uh...I say it when I need to go to the bathroom [kinda obvious] or when my parents need me to do something really quick.
The only other thing I can think of is letting the dogs out, lol.

Mine happened just the other day. I was doing a 5 story building trying to get Jury Notices and while I was going through I was painting my toenails. Of course I knocked the whole bottle off onto the floor. In between choosing gags I was scrubbing

Unfortunately my carpet still has a pink tint to it.

I've fallen asleep sometimes during late night runs (oops?)
Usually it's because I get caught up in a text message and I'm a little late in picking gags... or my brother is pounding on the front door because he forgot his house keys..
