Toontown filters more strict?

Have they gotten more strict with their filters? I got an email sent to me, and I haven't cursed since I got TT back.

EDIT: I mean, I haven't cursed on TT. I don't curse normally.

Both of you have to understand they are trying to keep Toontown safe, since it is a G-Rated game. Though, I have to admit that they have been going a little overboard. Though, whenever you sign-up for a game, remember when you click that "I Accept" button? That's their Terms of Service. If you agree to that, then you are pledging you will follow those rules. If you don't, they have the right to cause disciplinary action. Here are some of their rules:

A) Do not share personal information. (Name, Where You Live, Phone Number)
B) Do not use any type of slang/curse words.
C) Do not share SF Codes. They are meant for outside use only. (That means do not say them in the game. You can say them on here, but not in the game)

It seems that they have been VERY forgiving of this rule. I have passed SF codes in game, including the "TT" part, without any suspensions or other consequences. I also have SFs who, by passing codes through other toons, have been made my friends. Either TT does not punish this anymore, or all of us have been extremely lucky not to get caught.

Well, I know for one, a lot of people have said it on Toontown. I think they've gotten so tired of it, that they lighten up. Even if people are suspended, they still do it.

You must be lucky. Though, I'd suggest to stop unless you want to be banned. They can pounce at any time.

They've gotten REALLY strict. I got banned on Test for saying I lived in NYC. Ever since more people started joining TT, it's really bad. I hate how much they've changed.

I'd say they are alot more strict! It stinks! I got suspended and they never even sent me an email telling me what I'd done! [[Isen't that illegal or something...suspending someone with no written reason.]] >_<

It's actually quite ironic that they changed sf to true friends yet you can't call you friend by their name.

They can suspend or cancel anyone anytime if they find that you have broken any of the house rules which you have to agree to before you become a member. They do not need to give any notice. It is in the contract.

Back to the OP: Yes, I think they have been more strict as I received that same email yesterday. I wondered if they were just sending them out randomly, because I have been good for several weeks now. Of course, my husband and my son also play, so who knows.

Yes they have gotten more strict. =[ I got banned today, and some of the stuff on the list they sent me was ridiculous. I'm not saying I was unfairly banned, (The list was very big. I was a bad toon today =[) but some of the things I said were ridiculous to ban me for. >_>
