Well on Feb/March 2008 Newsletter:
Developer Spotlight
Question: What was the inspiration for the lookof Bossbot HQ?
Answer: It turns out that Bossbots love the game of golf, which orignated in Scotland. So we took inspiration from the older styled Scottish "links" golf coaurses, and their clubhouse architectural styles. To further emphasize the nature of the Bossbots, we felt an obvious reference to castles, along with the type of gray, ominous weather that would be associated with a medieval environment felt appropiate.
Also there was information on v2.0 cogs, if you didn't know:
The Discover of Bossbot HQ has revealed the existence of an even more dangerous Cog- the 2.0 version Cog! Here's a little background on the most sinister Cog upgrade.
What are they?
Upgraded Cogs-- even more dangerous than stansard cogs.
Which Cogs have been upgraded?
Any cogs can be a 2.0 upgraded version. Currently Toon HQ has only discovered v2.0 Bossbots in Bossbot HQ.
What has been upgraded?
When a Toon defeats a v2.0 Cog, they then have to fight their skeleton!
Best bet on defeating one?
Stock up on gags, as these Cogs are tough!

Why is it that every attempt us Toons are making to overthrow the Cogs aren't affecting their attempt to take over Toontown? Instead they get stronger!

I hope they are not heading down the path of most other MMOs where when they run out of lands they just create nothing but super uber elite mobs for the next ten years and call it new content :/
