Links to get the New Toontown launcher (open and test)

Below are two links. One goes to TT Open server new launcher download and the other goes to the Test server new launcher download.

NOTE!!: These links are for the US Server. From what I have herd they will only work on the US servers.

Open Server:

Edit: I have been getting some PM's about some problems with the Open Link. Below is a link to Toontown's website where you can find a link to download the Open Launcher.

I dont know if This link and the Link to the Open Server I provided is the same or not. From looking at the URL it looks like they are exactly the same, but I wanted to make sure everyone got a link to download the Vista launcher if they want it.

So you can download Toontown from the new insaller.

The only way to the download pages are

1. Dig though the Release Notes (On test, it is not on open release notes)
2. Un-install TT and get a vista pc and try and download TT and you will get that message

The Vista launcher, which works in 2000/XP as well, is a standalone program that opens up, allowing you to login and play at a much greater speed, because it downloads the updates MUCH faster than the "normal" way, and it's not loading huge webpages to login to the game.

Yes, it is much faster to get in

Instead of loading 4 pages you load 1 program that takes about 3-5 seconds to load

And the updates are much faster

Also, with the new installer you can put it on your quicklaunch bar. And have a workable icon .

Step 1: Download and install it
Step 2: Click on the new Toontown Icon (blue dog head, Flippy)
Step 3: Put your log in info in the required areas (password in the password area and SN in the SN area)
Step 4: Click Log In
Step 5: Click on your toon you would like to play when the Toontown Window pops up

It loads way faster and I feel like the downloads of the new updates are faster too.

Also,

You do not need a new account for the new launcher. I use it and my account was made in dec 05.

It does not work for TT UK.

Do you have to uninstall the regular toontown file?
Becasue when i try to down load it doesnt work

No you do not have to un-install it

It supposidly works with XP and ALL versions of Vista

It works for me and I am on Windows Vista Ultimate
