Welcome! You might consider getting your son involved in K.T.T.A., (Kids Toowntown Addicts). They are our sister group...or kid group considering it's run by my daughter and friends.
They just put up a new SF thread in the Secret Swap area HERE. You and your son can also check out the KTTA subforum HERE to see what's going on. Cherie P.S. My daughter is jealous of my SFs too! ![]()

Hello there and welcome to the group. Its funny because I think the majority of us were ironically introduced the same way. We were introduced by our kids and learned to love the game more than they do, LOL. Have fun!

Hi Ed,
Welcome to the group. I'm also very new to TT and currently been in the ATTA buddy program for a couple of days. I have great time with my buddies here. I can definitely related to your situation because mine is similar. My wife first started our two kids on TT without my knowledge and I debated if this game is safe for the kids (she knows if she would talk to me first, I will say no). So, I decided to try it out and share an account with my 9 years old. Then we got into fights as to who can play. Finally, I opened my own account and got my toon transferred. I'm a little crazy with my computers setup. I have a total of 6 computers on 2 subnets, with 2 routers, mixed wired cat-6 and wireless 802.1g LAN. So I have capacity for everyone to play at the same time. However, my wife can't stand me playing TT. We have also been discussing (not concluded yet) if we are going to find our kids some TFs whom are the kids of ATTA members. Therefore, we know who they are hanging around with. Our younger one is a 58 laff dog and the older one is a 68 laff dog (no TU track, bummer). My own toon is a 81 laff bear (no trap). - AC |

Hi! I am a pending new member. I started playing because my daughter needed help with the game when she had a free account, and ended up with 2 paid accounts so we can play together but now I play every chance I get. She plays sometimes but not often at all. I am all the way up to 107 laff and fighting CFO and VP a lot these days. She is upset that I play so much, but I love the game. Well, more than just that I love the game, I think life can become imbalanced because often we go unrewarded and unrecognized for the effrorts we make daily, we work for money, we clean and cook. This game has given me a sense of recognition and upward mobility which I needed more than I realized. My daughter had a party for just me and her when I made 100 laff (she is young, so it was homemade decorations and heated up leftover pizza from the fridge). I am noticing that I have started wearing makeup more, dressing better, I have more of a sense of pride. Funny how a game can really make a difference! Look out world, here I come, and my secret is that, underneath it all, I am a successful toon in toon town, shhhhhhhhhhh!
