I like having us on yahoo so that we can chat and not worry about being monitored during game play, makes it easier to organizing boss runs too.

Even though it's a bit more work - I really enjoy having my sf on yahoo so that I can chat with them without worrying about getting suspended again :-D.

I love all of Mildew's suggestions and I was about to make a similar post. I think we just start things moving along it won't be as big of an issue.

Also, the idea here is to get their group to be successful (and with spring break/summer vacation here and winter break on the other side coming up it's an ideal time to work this out) so they won't have to rely on ATTA.

I think a big part of why the kids always posted in ATTA and why some of them tagged along to our events was because ATTA has grown a lot and is having successful events and runs, whereas in their group....nothing.

I agree with Tammy. This is how they they/koatta feel. Ive been with atta before it was atta. I have kept up with the postings and goings on ect. I dont remember koatta members ever officially becoming adult toontown adicts. Did I miss something? I thought this was brought up before, and it was never changed. When did koatta become part of atta, besides the obvious inference of Kids Of Atta= koatta. Yes they have been to events and runs, as many people have. I think helping them get koatta going is good. They have spent so much time feeling kicked out of something I never knew they had, that they havent even updated any posts on their own thread. Obviously atta doesnt tell someone they cant join us on events ect, but correct me if Im wrong, they were never atta memebers. Koatta is something incredible as well, it is atta but for kids. crystal started it as that and it has fizzled simply because circumstance has crystal and cherie on a break right now. Claudia steped up and did a great job, as did many others cool peppy( and many more) but none really focused on koatta, no one knew we needed to.. They just assumed they were now atta because koatta failed to keep going. If we help koatta with our adult wisdom and fantastic ideas they will be up and running again. Mildew has some good ideas as well.

They were always recognized in the forum and threads ...and I saw no distinct difference between them and any other member. This is my ignorance and really I was just posting more about their feelings then anything else. I really didn't mean to step on toes. It was late and I was feeling bad, in my mommy way ,for them feeling left out. I do apologize for my ignorance and will be better informed before making another post of this nature.

Oh my gosh, no. I wasnt saying you were wrong. Most people think koatta and atta somehow got merged. My question was when. I only highlighted your post because it seemed to sum up how the koatta members do feel. You are right. This is how they/ others view it. Please dont appolgise, I guess I could have posted with out highlighting yours, but I thought you really summed up what was going on, you are right. I edited my original post to include, that I agree with you.

Tomorrow morning, (only on for a few minutes tonight.) I am going to PM Batleth and ask if the forum name can be changed to ATTA and KOATTA instead of just ATTA. That way they can also get THEIR recongition. I think (someone mentioned this cant recall who it was) That their subforum name also be placed in caps, instead of just lower case letters (great idea). I think this is a start. Once they see that our clan name and theirs as the heading and not just ours, I know that might put their minds at ease a bit. I really want their clan to work and I know so do all of you, we have so many youngings that love to hangout and chat with us (they even want to join us at our events), that we simpy just cant let them down. I have seen through these past couple of days of debate that these kids REALLY look up to us. I feel as a group that we must TOTALLY be doing something right, to have so many youngings wanting to join ATTA. Thats an awesome thing to see it really is.
Ladies and Gents I honestly see great things to come for ATTA and KOATTA I really do!!!

I thought about it. I am going to PM Bathleth right now. The sooner we get this going the better!!!

I reread what you wrote and I see that I misunderstood what you were saying. Phew! So glad I didnt upset you..: I was talking about that too..how hard it is to get the tone of something in the written word and then I go and have that very problem.. LOL You can highlight my post anytime but thats probably the last one worth posting...rofl I'm usually posting late or early in the morning.. and at both times I need a gallon of coffee just to make the smallest bit of sense.... hmm is starbucks open?? mocha .... mmmmmm

I noticed it right off! Especially since it read "KOTATTA" instead of "KOATTA" (it's been fixed now). My son wanted to post in KOATTA, but he can't until after school.

I think they may need help now trying to figure out their schedule. She had things planned every day of the week, but there's jsut not enough members to support that yet. My son said he's going to suggest to Dylan that they have 2 meets each week, one on a weekday evening/afternoon and one on a weekend. That way if someone can't attend on weekdays they can catch the weekend one.

And we should get our first official joint event planning underway. I'm thinking either a Boss run or a Building Buster.

Although I wasnt too involved at the time, I have been part of this group since its inception. Since it started, I dont ever remember ATTA and KOATTA being one group. Each were involved in doing their own events, with many individuals from each group attending the others.

I can see the young adults (very mature kids) being upset because they probably do feel more comfortable interpersonally as an adult and with adults rather than being categorized as a kid. I remember feeling this way when I was a teen, so Im sure some or plenty of them feel that way.

I completely agree that we should not incorporate both groups as one, but should help eachother. Should both groups become one, this secret forum will have to abide by all of TTC rules; especially no more "adult rated" conversations. I dont mind having this site as adult only or adult/kids secret forum, but it is nice to be able to be more adult-like when I choose.

I like plenty of the ideas posted by the other members. To help facilitate the interaction(s), I would like to host another Boss Run during the week that is for both ATTA/KOATTA. I was thinking of Wednesday for these runs. Maybe we can take on one boss and run 2-3 consecutive runs of 1-2 teams. I personally cant make it anytime before 7:00PM EST during the week, so it might be good to have 2 different run times to accomodate UK and US individuals, as well as being early enough for the kids. If not possible to accomodate during the week, then I think this next weekends boss runs should be for both.

The only think I would say is that we currently hold a boss run on Wednesdays already (8pm GMT), and have done for a couple of weeks, which were made specifically to accommodate us in the UK (although obviously everyone is welcome to come along!)

We start with a CFO, then VP then finish with a CJ.

Would it perhaps be possible to change the joint ATTA/KOATTA boss run for another night so as not to clash?

Just a quick note...I work on Thursdays, and this normally wouldn't be an issue, but my boys aren't allowed online at their gramma's house and once their dad gets off work there's not time for TT because it's dinner and bed.

So ideally I'd love Tuesday. Then I can help out on my toons and both boys can attend.

Since Tue is just one day away, do you all think it would be best to setup Sat or Sun or both as ATTA/KOATTA boss runs? I still need to update the main Boss Battle page for our regular runs; was going to add some banners and tips for the ATTA and the ATTA/KOATTA runs that I can swap back and forth (depending on what we are doing that weekend).
