Mr. Hollywood Invasion-Special schedule to help the toons in TTC?

As we all know, there will be a Mr. Hollywood invasion on Memorial Day weekend. A total 3 days, (5/26/07 to 5/28/07) we will have to make a special schedule for this. The low laffers in TTC will desperately need our help. 3 days of hollys. Lady Lily Petalswirl, please consider this an idea for helping the low laffers. They need our help.

Eep, I forgot about that potential issue. I will gladly help out low laffers. I've seen some lowlaffers toons in Dreamland as of late accidently getting into Cog battles...possibly not realizing what they're getting themselves into (I tried to save one but they went sad right as I got there ). And that's with only L7 Cogs, having L8s in TTC could be a disaster for them.

In the past if I've spotted a high level invasion, I've always beat feet back to TTC to try and help the low-laffers. But in this case since it appears it'll be in all districts, it'll be hard to choose a place to go...can't be everywhere at once.

I was actually thinking of the Holly invasion this morning. I think it will be a good idea to run around TTC or DD to help the little toons out.

We can meet up in a busier district at a certain time and just help anyone we see. We can do a few 1 hour special help session over the weekend.

We can have a help session on Saturday in the early afternoon (EST), and a late afternoon help session. We can also add a help session on Sunday in the morning for those who have nothing to do. A Monday early session will be good as well. I can set up a schedule for the special weekend.

We can take this special help session to help toons and a great opportunity for members who signed up for TTR and never showed up to finally "meet & greet" some of our helpers.

I will try to come up with something in the next few hours. I will definately have something by Friday night (PST time).

I think I am going to be able to go. The best districts I find that are full of new toons are welcome valley(free trial/new members, very hard to get same welcome valley district) and the districts before and after river/summit because new toons usually go there and I help them out during random invasions. I also always work on my uber toon on summit. I'm sorry I was not there today but I had to go to the city(1 hour away)to drop my cousin off because her car broke down.

Here's the schedule for our special help for the weekend!

We will be meeting in TTC in Nuttyville.

All session will last about one hour. We will meet in the playground 5 minutes before the actual event.

Remember that we are helping little toons out, as well as meeting new & old members & anyone we will be meeting along the way. Everyone is welcome to join. You don't need to be part of TTR to come help.

You don't need to come to every session. Show up to whichever one you can make it.

Still growing those last two...gonna be awhile.

I'm in PDT, and likely to be still asleep for the first session. I'm game for all of the others though.

I am trying to spread around the time and trying to not conflict with some VP/CFO/CJ run time. (You can probably guess where LLP/LVP will be heading to)

I don't expect anyone to come to every single one of them. However, if they do, I might have to give them a prize and make a big poster for them for the effort and dedication they put in over the weekend.

That's right! We should all do our parts and help them out regardless. We shouldn't be reporting who we helped at all. Tho, if you have a great experience to share, do share!

The streets in TTC were filled with little toons and filled with Hollys this morning. I managed to throw there, squirt there, drop here and toon up the ones who were hit by the Hollys.

At this moment, the Holly invasion ended and I am sure it will be coming back up soon. Try to clean up the street!

Tho the playground is not too big, I think we can all meet up in one little corner before helping little ones. (TTR usual meeting spot, of course! hehe)

The invasion restarted mere minutes before the second session time. I was actually wondering if it was going to, since when I first got on it wasn't active.

Didn't see anyone else near the area, so I just patrolled the streets...put a *lot* of points into Toonup because the little toons kept taking hits. There was one battle where 5 Hollys came by (though there weren't more than two at a time). Some of the smaller toons had to bail out due to running out of gags, but we made it through. I had to shut down the game a bit before 4 because I'd been on for several hours and the game was being a memory hog (487MB anyone?).
