Toon name taken away!

I was in a CFO tonight and when I logged off, I noticed that they had taken away my toons name that I've had for over a year. Guess my complaints about the bug in Goofys speedway really made them mad and this is how they punish me for emailing them! So if Hairy Pawter was on your friends list, it's now named toon!

We're sorry the name you chose for your Toon was rejected. We reserve
the right to deny any name for any reason whatsoever at our discretion.
If you have submitted the same name multiple times, and it has been
rejected each time, the best way to get your Toons new name approved
would be to choose a significantly different name. If the name is too
similar, it will likely be rejected again.

We have complex criteria that we use to judge submitted names. All names
that are submitted by users are run through various filters and are
personally and individually approved by a game operator. Although we
cannot comment on the specifics of your case, rest assured that the name
approval process ensures that Toontown will remain free of names that
generally do not fit within the world of Toontown or are
offensive/obscene in any way.

Please keep in mind that while you may not have intended to choose an
offensive name, we must be concerned with how other players will
perceive the name of your Toon. Since there are many children playing
Toontown, we must err on the side of caution.

You may resubmit as many names as you want until one you like is
accepted, or you may choose a name from the Pick-A-Name screen to have
it instantly approved.

If you're looking for an alternative, may I suggest "Wimpy Allen" or perhaps "Stinky Allen"?

That stinks. I personally think that once they sign off on a name, they oughta be held to that decision. This audit thing they do is for the birds.

Its because Harry Potter is someone elses idea and people cannot use logos or names from someone elses idea or they get sued and the last scentence was hallarious!!!!!!! (the cuss)

It isn't Harry Potter. It's Hairy Pawter, and satire is fair use.

You're Hairy Pawter? Is it a bear? I've seen this name.

Rerequest it. Dont make another name. Just keep submitting it.

I just find it highly ironic that I've had that name since the day after the bears came out on open and the very day that I send a letter to Disney about them ripping me off on GSW trophies (did over 100 races and was never credited with them ) that my name gets taken away. Something smell fishy there.

Flippers, yes, Hairy is a bear 76 laffer, working DDL tasks. I don't play him much but I take him out once in awhile when I am trying to be stealth

Please, if you have info on how to get his name reinstated, by all means tell!

Disney noticed your name when you sent a bug report. They investigated your trophys and thats when they noticed your name. You probably didn't count your race wins correctly too. You can't use real names though. Your name should never have been accept. But since you had it for over a year, its worth it getting it back, I guess

my name too was deleted after nearly a year. It was " Super Martini Kitten". I named it after my cat Martini. No mater how I typed it after that, they rejected it. I tried many like super martin knee Kitten and so on, all rejected. Even the new name was rejected but then after a few Emails was given, he is now call Little Milty's Nameless Kitten. I don't play him alot but sure wish I could have kept his real name.

Actually, I did resubmit Hairy Pawter like a bazillion times, I tried for 3 weeks to get them to accept it. Then I tried Army Mom several dozen times and that was rejected every single time. So I tried Military Mom and it got accepted on the first try.

Funny enough, I saw a Hairy Pawter in the playground of Donalds Dock yesterday....things that make you go hmmm.

Well I hope this works out for you. I honestly gave up on submitting my own names. I just put McDorf and left it because they kept rejecting.

I am 100% sure that I did not miss count my races. I spent the better part of a month racing with my husband and daughter in order to get the last 7 trophies and I am positive that I had my 100 races won. If Hairy Pawter shouldn't have been accepted, please tell me why I've seen Sponge Bob, Hannah Montana, Hillary Duff, and another Hairy Pawter!
