Message from Mama Zoobs

Hey guys,

Sorry I wasn't there tonight. My special needs brother in Los Angeles is in the hospital and very very ill. I will be traveling to LA tomorrow for 3 days so I won't be able to attend the Anniversary celebration * that's if we don't reschedule it*.

I'll post when I return.

Love
Mama Zoobs

Hey Guys,

After a 3 way telephone conversation with my family until 3 am last night, we've decided to wait until after my brothers surgery for me to go home. They can't do his surgery until his blood starts clotting again, so I don't know when I'll be leaving.

On a better note...I got another letter from my boy in basic training. He said they issued them their A-16 (i think that's what they are called) and it's kick #@@! He can't wait to shoot it OY VEY! He said his drill sargents are really hard on them during the day, but at night they sit around and talk about women and stuff that's going on in the world. He said they are pretty kewl - his spelling not mine Said he's up to 200 push ups a day. He has 9 more days of white phase and then onto blue. He'll be home for 12 days at Christmas...seems the US government shuts down all the bases at Christmas, excellent for all the soilders families.
I'll tell ya, I've never been more happy to see the mailman than these last 2 weeks!
