TT with Vista! November 4, 2007 [sv1.0.30.20.test]

November 4, 2007 [sv1.0.30.20.test]

Attention TEST Toons!

  • We are working on a new Windows Vista(tm) compatible Toontown installer/launcher and need your help! Please download this file:Toontown-setup_TEST.exe, save it, and then double click on it to start the installation process. When installation is complete a shortcut desktop icon will appear, and the new launcher will automatically start. You can use this launcher to login to Toontown TEST instead of through Toontown TEST's website.

This new installation is installed under your C:\Program Files\Disney\Disney Online\ToontownOnline_TEST folder, and will not in anyway affect your previous installation of Toontown TEST.

The new Toontown TEST launcher is fully compatible with other versions of Windows(tm), so please give it a try and let us know what you think! If you encounter any issues with using the launcher or its installation, please visit our Report A Bug page or click on the "Report a Bug" button on the launcher.
*** KNOWN ISSUES ***
  • Currently the download movie within the launcher window does not display correctly. This will be fixed very soon.

Cool. On my Mac, I absolutely LOVE having the launcher so I don't have to go on the website to play.

I dont have a test account but I did download the installer and have to say I love the way they've set it up so you don't have to go to the website. It seems to be easier then going to tt.com, logging in and then loading the game. YAY for a working tt icon again!

Once you log in does it go to tt.com and then loads or does the game load straight away?

The launcher downloads the game files and then the game opens.
