The Brrrgh Guide

[/b]Yes, you can easily go to the Toontown guide that they have on toontown homepage but this is one from a past brrrgh'ers point of view.

Plus...im bored so I am gonna make a guide:


Ok, so you finish Minnies Melodyland. You thought that was tough? Think again, its time to train for you final gag track and go through some of the evilest tasks I have ever seen.

PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER 1: LIL OLDMAN

INTRO

Ok, so go to...public enemy #1 and you must complete a few dumb tasks before choosing between your last 2 tracks.

LOM(lil oldman) seems innocent enough. well, he has a bunch of tasks to make you want to blow up.

Head for the Blizzard Wizzard which is located on Walrus Way.
About 3/4 down the street is the Blizzard Wizzard. That is Public Enemy Number 1's where-abouts.
PART 1
Your first task is not that hard. You need to defeat 10 level 8 cogs anywhere.

I suggest going to donalds dreamland or if you have the suit and a good group, hop on the elevator for a vp. You will soon get those cogs easy. After you get the 10 level 8 cogs, return them to Public Enemy.(lil oldman)

Sadly, this is one of the easiet tasks you need to complete for the lil oldman portion of the brrrgh.

After you return that task, he will ask you to fish for 3 fuzzy dice. I really do not know what he is using them for, maybe a new torcher divice. Anyway, there is a pond very close to the Blizzard Wizzard building. walk out the door, turn right. you can't miss seeing the pond.

When you fetch his dice, return them back to him. Then, he will ask you defeat 2 level 4 story buildings of one of the four cog types(sellbot, cashbot, lawbot, bossbot). It is totally random.

I am sure those will be easy for toons since you just need 3 more brrrgh of higher toons and you will get the buildings easy.

After you defeat the 2 buildings, make your way back to LOM. He will then ask you to choose between your 2 final gag tracks. Whichever one you do not choose, you will not be offered ever again. So choose wisely.

There ya go, Part 1 of the brrgh, is completed. Time for the hard part.

PART 2

Laff Point Tasks:


Chicken Boy:

Reward: 1 laffboost

Street: Walrus Way. The building is Pea Soup Cafe.

Sooner or later, you will be offered this task. It is not terribly hard.

He asks you to recover a Soccer Ball from either a head hunter, a moneybags, a two face, or a spin doctor. Totally random which cog you need to get it from.

If you need it from a Moneybags, check out cashbot hq. if you do not meet one on pajama place, go straight in the hq.

if it is a twoface, look in sellbot hq, around the courtyard, oak street, and if you have no luck there, go in the factory.

If you need it from a headhunter, try Lullaby lane.

If you need it from a Spindoctor, try lullaby lane also, or, Lawbot hq(well when it opens)

Return the soccer ball to chicken boy and claim your laffpoint.

Wynne Chill:

Reward: 1 laffboost.

Street: Sleet Street, Snowmen bought and sold.

Ok, this is a very annoying task!

He asks you to defeat either 45 bossbots, or 40 lawbots. Also random.

For bossbots, try some buildings around the brrgh and if you can get a group, try ddl.

For lawbots, well, not many choices.
Buildings is the best way to go with this task I think.

Then, after you return that task, he is like "Um, I asked you to defeat 45(sell or cash) bots. You must of heard me wrong, go defeat 45 (cash or sell)bots.

Those are probably very easy to get, you can easily do a full factory and grab 35 sellbots and there are plenty of cashbot buildings and you could go in the coin mint possibly if your gags are ok.

Return this, and get a whole laffpoint...all that work for 1 laffpoint.

Sweaty Pete:

Street:Sleet Street. "Heat,Get it While its Hot" building.

Ok, this dude is a stink bomb, his shower is broken. So you need to get a cog gear from a micromanager.

You can find micromanagers on Walrus Way.

Return the gear to him.

Now, he wants a rubber ducky. What a drama queen.

Fish for the dumb duck and bring it back.

When you think its all over, he asks you to defeat 5 cog buildings in the brrgh.

when your done, go back and claim your 2 extra laff.


Lounge Lassard:

Reward: 3 point laffboost. Here we go, finally a big laffboost.

Street:Snowball Hall on Walrus Way.


Ok, think of this guy as a pop star singer since he needs all this music stuff xD

First, he wants you to recover a microphone from the cogs.

That can not be to hard, once you get the microphone, bring it back to the pop star.

Then, he needs his electric keyboard. You need to either get it from a mingler, a loanshark, or a corporate raider, also also also random.

Get the keyboard and return it to our American Idol, Lounge Lassard.

Then he wants platform shoes. Uh Oh, I really do not wanna see this cat dancing.

You need to get the shoes from a hollywood or a big cheese. I am not positive if you need to get it from Big Wigs, or Robber Baron's.

Get the cat his shoes, grab your 3 laffpoints, and run before he starts to dance.

Well, this is the end of all the laffpoint tasks in the brrgh.


Toboggan Ted:

Street:Toboggan, or not to Toboggan. Walrus Way.

Reward: carry 50 gags


First, you must recover a toboggan from any cogs. Get that, and return to Toboggan Ted.

He asks you to go to Bumpy Noggin, on sleet street, the building is called Noggin's Tobbogan Bargins.

You need to fish out 3 icecubes from the pond.

Return them to Noggin.


Then, he will say to go to Simian Sam at Lowbrow Snowplows on sleet street.

He wants you to defeat 5 4+ story buildings. Wooh...the fun never stops...-_-

It is self-explanitory where to get buildings... anywhere...

return that task to him.

Finally, you must go to Henry the Hazzard at the Skiing Clinic on Walrus Way.

Henry wants you to defeat 20 7+ cogs anywhere. I'd try a vp since most of the cogs and skelecogs are 7 or higher. If you cannot get in the vp, try buildings or street fighting.

Return that to Henry and get the Large Gag Bag that holds 50 gags.

PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER 2-HYSTERICAL HARRY

One of the most frustrating tasks I have ever had the unfortunate pleasure of having to do.

Street: Snow Big Deal(well, this task is a very big deal!) Walrus Way

Reward: carry 4 toontasks

This dude is crazy... he says he is acting all weird etc etc and does not know what cogs are making him frightened and creeped out.

Ok, he wants you to defeat 10 minglers anywhere.

The places I recommend to find them are, sellbot buildings, and vps. There is only like a 30% chance of one mingler in a factory.

When you get those, go back.

Now, he wants you to defeat 10 corporate raiders.

Bossbot buildings are the way to go. My sf found 6 in one 5 story bossbot buildings.

When you get all those, he now thinks loan sharks are the cogs responsible for making him crazy. I took my brrgh-training sf into a mint with 2 other high laffers and he got all 10 of his loansharks. if you can not get in one, try cashbot buildings.

Ok, then he wants a potion to calm him down.

So go to Fanny Freezes at Dropping Degrees Diner on Sleet Street.

For the potion, she needs 2 Sardine Whiskers. Which you get by fishing. Return them to her and get the potion. return it to harry.

He will be like "The potion is not working well, wait! I know! LEAGLE EAGLES! THOSE ARE THE COGS I AM CREEPED OUT BY."

Now, you need leagle eagles, You thought it was 10 leagle eagles, but no, he cut it in half, so only 5.

Well, I just say do lawbot buildings. that is the only good and safe way to get them.



When you defeat 5, go back.

You have just defeated Public Enemy Number 2

You've just won a new car!! Just kidding! You won nothing! Except the fact of holding 4 toontasks.

Vidalia VaVoom:

Reward: holding 120 jellybeans.

Street:Snow Bunny Ski Shop, Sleet Street.

This is a rather, odd task.

You must recover a love letter from either a loanshark, a mingler, or a leagle eagle.

Buildings, Buildings, Buildings.

Law buildings for eagles, vps or sell buildings for minglers, and mints or cash buildings for loansharks.

Nuff Said for that.

Return it to her.

you need to diliver it to Snooty Sinjin at St. Bernard Kennel Club on walrus way.

He is like "I HAVE NO TIME! THE COGS STOLE MY 10 WEINER DOGS!!!"

WHO THE HECK HAS 10 WEINER DOGS AS PETS... *shakes head in shame*

Recover them from the cogs.

the cogs must be in the brrgh.

Return his dogs.

Then, you need to go to Creepy Carl at Ice House Jewlery on the same street, walrus way. He is getting an engagement ring for Vidalia VaVoom, ooh I wanna be the flower girl! LOL.

he needs you to defeat 10 level 8+ cogs, anywhere.

Try ddl, vp, mint, buildings, anything except factories.

return the cogs, then diliver the engagement ring to Vidalia VaVoom.

Almost done with the brrgh.

Gus Gooseburger:

Reward: teleport access to the brrrgh.

Street:Affordable Goosebumps on Walrus Way.

He wants you to defeat three 4+ story cashbot buildings.


Look around sleet street, or pajama place.

When you get those, return it to Gus.

Then he wants you to go to Grumpy Phil, at, The Frozen Nose on sleet street.

He wants you to diliver a broken tooth to Dr. Mumbleface at the Chattering Teeth Subzero Dentist. He must of had his tooth knocked out in ice hockey.

That building is on sleet street.

then he tells you to defeat 8 sellbots, cashbots, or lawbots in the brrrgh.
Not really hard, try sleet street.

return them to Mumbleface, he needs you to recover a golden tooth from a robber baron or a mr. hollywood.

Try buildings.

when you get it return it to mumbleface. he asks you to diliver it to Grumpy Phil. Finally, go back to gooseburger and he wants you to diliver Pine Cone Bread to grumpy phil at the frozen nose.

pine cone bread? what the heck do they eat in The Brrgh. so random.

When you diliver it, you complete the task.

ITS TIME

FINAL LIL' OLDMAN SET OF TASKS


be afraid, be very afraid.

Believe it or not, he wants to make lunch and wants you to fetch the supplies.

First, lom gives you the task of either recovering 6 lumpy cheeses from a big cheese, or 6 caviars from a mr. hollywood.

buildings, or if you can not find mr hollywoods, try a vp.

But try buildings first.

When you get them, return them to the enemy.

Then he wants you to recover a simple spoon from a big wig, or a robber baron.

more and more buildings...

Now he wants another talking toad. fish it out.

bring it back.

he tells you to go to Sticky George at "The melting icecream bar" which I believe is behind toon hq on walrus way.

You must recover 10 icecream cones from either a big wig, big cheeses, or mr. hollywood. the randomness.

Return them to sticky george who wants you to bring them to LOM.
Then he asks you to get wig powder from a big wig, or some makeup powder from a mr. hollywood. No makeup can make lil oldman look better.

once you get the makeup powder/wig powder return it to him.

Ok, the scariest part.

DEFEAT 20, THATS RIGHT, TWENY, 4+ STORY COG BUILDINGS

this takes time.

I suggest doing a little each day. maybe 4 one day, 6 another, 3 the next, 5 the day after that, and then the last 2.

Or you can do a lot in one day like 10.

Once you do that dreaded task, return it to evil oldman.

Now, he says his frog is lonely and wants a girlfriend, so you must fish out another frog in the pond.

return it to him, and recieve your final gag.



CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE BRRRGH, its time to move on to high laff stage in donalds dreamland with even harder tasks LOL but lots of laffboosts.

Good Guide, but I would say Public Enemy 3 for some can be Vidalia Vroom and her love letter.

Yes if you get Loan Sharks or or Minglers, Legal eagles not so bad, as these three were had to find in Brrgh and therfore u didnt need so many(Eagles not so bad since polar place), Corporate Raiders though, urrgh, i say this cos on the 4 times i've done this task, 2 i had them, 1st time I had to 28 corporate raiders before i got the letter, second it was 32. Other thing you have to get these cogs in the Brrrgh, so no going DDL doing 5 level builds where loads would be present!!

Yes Brrgh can seem hard, especially if your toons a bit weak in gags, cos you've spent far too much time on streets and not enough building gags in buildings and in factories etc.

But that is the point! The tasks are designed to build up your gags and to complete or near complete your cog radar, by balancing out cogs u may not have got a lot of. By the end of it most toons have strengthened up quite a lot.

Brrrgh of course was once the last of set tasks you had to do, this was before Pajama Place, then u cud race through all tasks to 100 laffs, by doing just cogs anywhere if you looked around a bit for the tasks. This was producing very weaked gagged toons at 100 laffs.

Of course now you have hardish Brrrgh and even harder DDL tasks to further build toons up. So to me after doing it 4 times it dont seem that bad too me, i'd say theres more frustrating tasks in DDL for sure.

So LOM the Public Enemy, or LOM the Toon strengthener? Well first time round I'd probably thought the first one, but the times after, I say the latter.

They do say you gotta sometimes be a bit cruel to be kind. And noticing the stronger 100 laffers being produced now to back then, I'd say there was some truth in that.
