Cog Guides
Meet the Cogs
By now you know the Cogs are nasty, menacing robots; and you also know how to bust them up with a few good gags. This is a little information to help you find the Cogs you need to complete even the toughest of Toontasks.
Any Toon will tell you, there's nothing better than unleashing a good gag on an unsuspecting Cog, but don't forget - you won't get any points for using a big gag on a little Cog.

Cog Radar
The Cog Gallery page in your Shticker book is more than a nifty list of all the Cogs, it's the quota the Toon Council gives all new Toons when they come to Toontown to keep track of how many of each type of Cog they've defeated. Once Toons fill the quota and defeat all the Cogs listed, they get a reward - Cog Radar.
Cog Radar gives you the ability to see what Cogs are on a street without having to run around. All you need to do is click on the Bossbot, Lawbot, Cashbot, or Sellbot logo on the Shticker book's Cog Gallery page, and the number of Cogs on the street you're on will be revealed.
After Cog Radar is earned, a new quota will appear in your Shticker book. One that second quota is filled, the ability to see what kinds of buildings are on each street becomes available - Building Radar.

Cog Buildings
You won't be in Toontown long before you find yourself high on the upper floors of a Cog building. Here's what you need to know before you step onto the elevator.
How Tough is This Building?
Check out the lights above the elevator door. The more lighs, the more floors. The more floors, the tougher the building is. A few level 100 Toons have been known to try tackling a 4-story building alone, but most come out sad and with all their gags in the hands of the Cogs.
Who's Home?
You can tell what kind of Cogs are in a building by looking at the badge inside the elevator.
If the elevator door is closed, that means Toons are already inside. You can tell what floor they are on by looking at the elevator lights.
Where Do I Find A Loan Shark?
Some Cogs can only be found inside buildings. If you get a Toontask asking you to defeat a Loan Shark, Legal Eagle, Corporate Raider, The Mingler, Mr. Hollywood, Robber Baron, Big Wig, and The Big Cheese, try going into a Cog building - you just might find them there. The taller the building, the more likely you are to find a building-only Cog.
Stars & the Toon Platoon
The Toon Platoon is made up of the top ten currently online Toons who have rescued the most buildings in a single district of Toontown. Their names and the star they have earned are displayed on the blackboards inside Toon HQ.
To get a star, you have to earn points. One point is earned for each building floor you recover.
10 points: Bronze star
20 points: Spinning bronze star
30 points: Silver star
50 points: Spinning silver star
75 points: Gold star
100 points: Spinning gold star
A few things to remember:
- If a building you rescued gets taken over by Cogs again, you lose credit for that building.
- There is a different Toon Platoon in each district. If you switch districts, your points don't travel with you.
Do your best to earn your place among the bravest Toons in Toontown!
