HELP! Building Losses Rapidly Compounding
What in the world,
I swear all last night I would take over a bldg, gain a star, and then 10 minutes later lose the star - repeat. I never even got to spinning bronze! Previously, anytime I set out to gain a star, I would be able to get to silver in a reasonable amount of time. We were fighting 3 - 5 story buildings. This was the first time that I focused my attacks in Kookytown. Is it because kookytown is the busiest district, so everything moves at a quicker pace, that is the only thing I can think of? Does anyone have any idea why this would happen to me, the gentlest of all the dogs. Corky the Conquered |

Yes, I have found that if you do enough building floors in a quiet district, up to a silver or spinning bronze, sometimes you will still have a star when you come back the next day. But in the busy districts you are lucky to hang on to a bronze for long at all. Building spawn rates seem to be relative to the number of toons in a district and how quickly they are retaking the buildings.
Also, in my experience, if you have defeated a few tall buildings as opposed to many short ones, you will lose your stars quicker as you have more of a chance of losing many floors at a time. |

AmeldaZelda and Karani,
Thank you for your responses. AmeldaZelda, unfortunately I believe that you are correct; therefore this years stinky award goes out to the guy/gal who came up with that idea (lol, I am just kidding btw - there really isn't a stinky award). The runner-up and very close second for the prestigous stinky award is the guy/gal who came up with the switching districts and so you lose your star idea. Kudos to these guys and may they code toontown code for the rest of their days, amen. Corky PS - I think I am obsessing over "my star" and so need help. Someone please help. |
