Elder Tasks

There are some things I've noticed with the Elder Tasks.

Elder Tasks for Cogs must be done in Toon Town Central. Street fighting/Buildings anywhere else with a <26 LP toon will not count.

The Elder tasks for Buildings can be done anywhere, but the <26 LP toon must exit the building after the last floor. I know this because my noob went comatose on the first floor and exited after I entered the elevator. I finished the building and received no credit against my Elder task. Obviously, having Toon-up or completely obliterating the cogs on each turn are two strategies that come to mind to complete this task.

Our Cattlelog should include a Cattle prod to help herd the noobs into the elevators (what toontask are you working on.... I need to fish for Clown tires... lets go in the elevator...heh heh).

Keep Smiling, ...Bear

KimberWoof, my 55 laff toon, was offered 2 elder tasks last night, both the exact same task with the exact same payoff. The task was to help a <=25 laffer defeat one building anywhere. Payoff was 250 JBs.

I accepted the first one. Didn't even have to go looking for a "noob", one just hopped on an elvator with several of us in MM. One of the other toons had an elder task, but it had a count (like 1 of 2). I wonder if you have to help the same toon do 2 buildings, or you can help 2 different toons.

Revenge of the Elders!

Ever get that lil level 15 laffer walk onto a level 5 bldg in Donald's Dreamland?
Said toonager says "No" to the standard "I think this is too risky
for you"?
Said toonager dies on the second floor, first hit?

Time to get even:

With the Elder tasks introduced it was nice for all 1000000000 of us high level laffers to invade toon town central!!!

We were in the thick of it fighting with that level 15 laffer for that level one cog!
I stood on the street corner and watched a ton of toons scrambling around cogs that just choppered in! Absolutely hilarious!

NOTE: all of us Elders were quite nice doing the toonups/lure for the lil ones once the fight began

There's me yelling 'Help!' with a level one cog waiting to get his shot in....poor thing.

The elder tasks have a counter like the normal tasks. You don't have to help the same toon. If the noob TPs during battle you lose credit for that battle.

You are better off just going into the streets and fighting cogs. The noobs still ask to be friends in the PGs and then you never hear from them again.

Hot Diggity Dog!
What in the world?
Let's get this party started.
I'll get this one.
You won!

Obvious, really. If your task is to HELP someone DEFEAT A BUILDING then the "someone" must defeat the building. Keep your noobs alive. Best strategy is to use the new speedchat "You should pass" until your noobs get the message.

If you have to help <=25 laffers defeat 4 buildings, the best strategy is to go into a building with three <=25 laffers. The building counts three times.

Similarly on the streets of TTC, if you are with three <=25 laffers, each cog you kill counts 3 towards your total.

If you have "3 story building" the best bet is to hang around one in DD in the busiest District. There will be a 15 laffer along any minute...

Thumbs up

Did 5 elder tasks yesterday

3 x 3+ bldg and 2 x 45 Cogs in TTC with toon 25 or below, all of them are were for 400 beans each.

There pretty cool, makes the big toons go in TTC or MM or DD and help out the noobs for some reward! lolll it was quite easy to do once I hooked a noob and put him on my friends list he kept asking for more!! hehehehehehehe
