I have some questions that I've been wondering. If somebody uses sound on lured cogs, do they get any points for it? Or don't you? Does the person that lured the cog get points or the person who uses sound? I have another question, sellbot HQ has alot of lower level cogs. It used to have alot of minglers and hollywoods, but it don't no more! Why?

Yes you are correct.

The toon using a successful lure gag get lure points.
The toon using a successful sound gag against lured cogs still get sound points.

Just remember sound gags do not do bonus damage against lured cogs and like any other succesful attack, the cogs become unlured as a result.

Minglers can still be found on the East & West Silos and the Super can be, among other things, a Mingler or MH.

I believe you only get Lure points if you knock back a cog that is lured.... if you lure and let's say you used Toon Up a couple of times instead of knocking back a cog and the cog breaks free you will not get any Lure points. Since Sounds knocks the cogs back you will get the Lure points.

Minglers in Sell Factory -- I see them once every three runs or so (btw I don't run it much).... hard to find them in the Factory since they downgraded it.

It would make sense if you get points from using lure if the lure works regardless of whether it gets knocked back or steps back. If the cog has been lured at the time of using the gag, surely it has been successful and you will get the points for it?

Logically, it should work like that. It's actually pretty hard to rationalize the way Disney awards the points for lure. I guess their logic is that unless you tangibly reap the benefits of the lure hitting then it doesn't count. But I would say that a cog being unable to attack for any round is pretty tangible, so that lets that rationale out. And that brings to mind the following question (and if somebody has the answer I'd really like to know it):

If you lure, say, 3 cogs and it hits and you hit and destroy one of the cogs but do not get the knock-back bonus on the destroyed cog and the other two cogs wake from their lure before either gets hit; will the lure points be awarded?

Anyway, the answer to your question is no: If the cogs wake from their lure without being attacked then the points for the successful lure will not be awarded.

I read the question as if sound was used and hit on a lured cog, did they get lure points? Not if the cog woke from the lure without ever getting attacked.

As I recall, I trained my starting-level-lure up when I got it just a few weeks ago (as my final gag track) by doing streets and one-story buildings in DD with lure and bike horn (sound), and I got lure points for the bike-horned cogs. Maybe I'm just getting senile!

[Edit]: I'm going to do just that tonight to be sure - lure single cogs on the street and "kill" iwith sound, and see if I get lure points. But I think so because it is a successful attack. Just no bonus damage awarded.
