Question 94-laffer, but I STILL don't understand...

I'm a 94-laffer and have been playing a LONG time... and consider myself to be a pretty advanced player. But I still don't get two things.

1) On rare occasions, after clearing a floor of cogs, as the toons are doing the "short" dance before heading up to next floor, a toon sometimes gets a "+1" laff point increase over his head. I can't figure out why or when that happens. Anyone?

2) When done with a building and cogs are dancing, the system shows which tasks each toon was working on and counts up any credits toward those tasks. Some tasks are written in black type, others in green. I thought the green ones were ones he was going to get credit for, but then saw this wasn't always the case. I can't figure out the logic for why some are black and some are green. Then I thought that black and green just alternated to make it more readable. wrong again, they're sometimes next to each other. Anyone?

Thanks in advance for the answers to my mysteries...

1)This happens when Toon-Up heals all but the one point that would put you at full health, you get that point later on.

2)If you look closely, it's on the same line as someone's complited(sp..) task that was ahead of you in teh dance.

EDIT: Don't want to waste a whole post on this..

They difeenetly don't give it out for killing the Cogs, it jsut seems like that most of the time :-)

I have the answer to the first one

They get the +1 laff, because it does that sometimes when you get so many points when you kill the cogs, you can get a +1 laff

Hmmm... conflicting info. If this is right... does anyone know the limit you have to supass to get the +1 bonus? It's NEVER happened to me and I've camped out on high floors killing cogs and racking up >100 points easily...

I agree with Dandyboing.
The +1 "bonus' is probably a bug, it's not a bonus. It is just the remaining last point. Does seem to be random. I wonder if it is there too ensure that others who use toonup get credit for using that gag, although it isn't currently working that way.

The maximum credit allowed is 200 points per gag per building. you'll notice that after you leave the building it says 'no credit'. This isn't true once you begin fighting anew.

I've always been told that the 1+ you see just before heading into the lift was because of a toon up bug. It sometimes shows your team mates one point short of their full laff, but then as you head to the lift, it sometimes corrects itself. Before I knew this I would try to heal my fellow players again but only ended up wasting the tune up as they were in reality, full health.

As far as the task bar being green, like Dandyboing said: it's because someone just before you completed the task on that same line and theirs turned green...so subsequently, everyone elses similar task line will be green also, even if theirs isn't completed.

For example.

Toon A is Dancing and completed his 2nd. task, it turns green.

Toon B is Dancing and did NOT complete his second task, but it also turns green.

Thanks all, the black/green answer makes perect sense.

The +1 "bonus" does seem to be a bug related to toonup. I'd been working on theories like if toons work super-cooperatively together, or use 4 different gags in a kill (lure->trap->squirt->drop) or something, then someone gets a bonus laffpoint increase. Or, if they clear a floor with no hits/damage from a cog, then a bonus is awarded... but none of those theories seemed to be right.
