fairly new to toontown, need help
Hi
I have a few questions. I've been in toontown for 3 weeks now, and have gotten to a 39 , guess thats not bad for only 3 weeks. Anyhow, I'm advancing a little and found a few things in my schticker book that I'm not sure about. I hope someone can explain to me and answer a few questions? First off, I had a task where I had to go to sellbot hq to get memo's, and now I notice cog disguises and also sos toons in my book and I have NO idea what those are! I'm not even sure too much about what the hq is, and what I'm supposed to do, except another place to get cogs...how do I SAVE toons to get them in the sos toons and what is that for? Can anyone give me a hq101 short tutorial on what it all means? Also, I find that 30 gags is a small amount, have to keep going back to the gag shop/playground quite quickly to recoup my gags. I was wondering what is the max # of gags one can carry, and if I'll eventually be able to carry more? What types of strategies should I use, and can anyone give me any tips for my level? I thank you for any advice in advance. I appreciate it. Princess Lollipop Loopenzapper 39 laff points |

Have you taken a look at Official Player's Guide or Toontown Wiki ? They have some great stuff in there. You'll be able to get up to 60 gags, I think. Every time you complete a cog factory or mint in the HQs, you get a cog suit part. Once you've got a whole suit, you can then go battle the CFO or VP. The VP gives you a SOS card to use later incase of emergency. CFO gives toons of the world unite phrases to use later. Fighting the CFO and VP is for more advanced players.

The max gags you will be able to carry is 80. You will get several tasks with rewards such as, "Small Backpack" "Medium Backpack" and "Large Backpack". I suggest if you have low gags, work on them in the streets. Then you can work on your laff. When you have all of your parts of your cog disguise, wait until you are about 60+ laff. Then you may battle the VP. When you are 86+ laff, and when you have all of your Cashbot HQ cog disguise parts, you can battle the CFO. I hope this answers all of your questions. ![]() Orbiter Arbiter |

Yeah, basically, everyone has given the best pointers. I'm assuming you're in, Daisy Gardens right now right? Later on, as you progress in the game, you should be offered a larger gag bag as a Daisy Gardens task. You will be able to carry more gags, and soon, as you finish Donalds Dreamland tasks, you will end up carrying a maximum of 80 gags. But right now, you dont need that many. You dont have enough different types of gags to need that big of a gag bag.
HQs-Right now, as a new player, lets start off with Sellbot. There is a place to go called the factory in Sellbot HQ. Sellbot HQ is down Oak Street in Daisy Gardens. [is it oak street? I havent played in months!]. Defeating the factory 10 times earns you a cog suit. Once you have earned a cog suit, defeat some sellbots to get merits which, as a beginner, you will only need 20. You will not need to defeat to many sellbots for 20 merits. When you have enough merits, where it shows your gag experience, you will see a bar with Sellbot near it, and it will say, Ready for Promotion! Then, you can fight the VP, by going through different doors in sellbot HQ. Its hard, but if you win, you get an SOS toon, that can help you during battle, by selecting the help command when you're attack a cog. But remember! Its one use! Same procedure for Cashbots, except Cashbot HQ is down Pajama Place in Donalds Dreamland, and it is harder, and the stuff has different names. RECOMMENDATIONS: Try a factory at 40+ laff, a VP at 60+ laff. Try a coin mint at 55+ laff, a dollar mint at 60+, and for a bullion, I actually recommend 70+. The cogs are very hard! CFO, probably 85+. This is not a good place for newer toons to venture. But you can soon try your hand at a factory. Hope I helped!!! -Angelgirl0773- |
