Mouse Tips

Yes, I am sure you all have heard these before. For those who haven't:

Camping - when Toons solo and sit at the top floor alternating between Lure and Sound. If you don't have sound, press Pass a few times. Another way is to leave 1 or 2 cogs at the top level soften them up for a final blow and alternate with the Toon-up gag. Obviously this only works when there is at least 2 Toons there with that gag. If I am with those who I can only Speedchat with I try to get them to under stand by saying things such as: 'Wait a minute', 'Have fun', 'I have enough gags'. When you are almost out or maxxed out at 200 (per building): 'One more?'
Respect the fact that many players may be trying to just finish the building and move on.

Depending on your party's strength, before reaching the top floor have someone lure the last cog and everyone Toon-up to at least close to their max. Last thing you want to happen is your sound gag to miss and then 4 all area effect attacks against! *ouch*

I find that you can acheive higher level gags quicker if you can join with a friend(s) with similar gags (sound), (drop) or complimentary gags (trap and lure). Be dedicated to that plan and you'll go far.

I tried the lure, pass, strategy when working on my lure and I didn't get any lure experience. From what I've seen you don't get lure experience from a lured cog unless that cog is subsequently attacked while lured. Lure+Sound seems to be the best way to do it.

Yes, that is correct. My apologies.
