You have to start fresh, which means making a new toon, going through the little tutorial, and everything.

You should also know that you can wait a loooong time after signing up before you get accepted. Good luck, though.

I think disney should change how we get on test. First of all they should make a server lobby. You pick your toon that you want to use, then if you have permission to get on test you can choose which server to enter. I personally think this woul'd be easier.

When you get on test it is a whole new and different account. That's why you start from scratch. Thee are 6 toons spaces and you start them just the same as open.

If disney wasent so cheap then we wouldnt have to waste time on new toons. We should be able to use our big toons to access the test server when we get accepted. If they dont want to do that they could give each tester a 112 toon all gag tracks. I dont get why they need to make our lives so hard.

The reason behind making you start from scratch is to make sure any and all new toons don't have a bug in them. With each new update to test they need to know if something has gone wrong with the tasks or creation of new toons. You are testing not just playing in a different server, if all you want to do is play new content test really isn't what you want to be doing. Toons can be erased with no warning and no way to recover them on the test server. Test is not a right it's a privalege. If you don't want to build a new toon ask Toontown to delete your test account and stay in open. Test can be buggy and difficult with the low number of toons online when there is nothing new to test. when there is new content to test you may still find little help depending on what and where the new content is. Toons will help you in most cases if they see you out side a building even if they don't need it.

You have to have different toons on test, or your toons would have a big advantage over players that are not on test. You get to play with new developments earlier than others so you would be able to get a head start. Right now it would be even more unfair because sellbot VP is being tested after all of the recent changes, and to make that easier to do they've disabled having to do factories between VPs. It wouldn't be a lot of fun for other players if testers could use that to boost their normal toons.

I heard they choose testers based on amount of time spent playing on open account. Meaning how many hours per day or days per week you play. Is this true? Does anyone know? I starting to think is just a rumor. I play my open account everyday for minimum of 5 hours. Some days I play 12-14 hours. I have not been excepted to test yet. However, I just applied for it about 2 weeks ago.

No, that isn't true. It's like a waiting list, whoever is first on the list gets in first if someone leaves test. And sometimes it takes forever cuz you could be way back on the list.

No they check your toons really. You must have one or more toons who have 100+ laff. I originally saw this in the tt FAQ(frequently asked questions) section on the main site.

Q: What happens if I reach 100 laff points?

A: As an advanced player, you may be interested in our test server. We allow paid members the option of playing on our test server and being the first to try out our new content. If you wish to sign up for the test server, go to:
