Troubles Takin Screenshots :(

Oki doki. . . i have read and searched many tips tactics etc on takin screenshots and where they end up. . .BUT why wont it work for me still. I have tried maximizing screen. . . changed settings on monitor. . . pretty much everything . I press F9 and the lil white letters on bottom left corner appear quickly, thus thinking that I took a screenshot. . . yet I goto my Toontown folder and nothing there. . . . . Anyone gots any ideaas what the heck is happening? I emailed Disney support and they said that they dont support windowed mode so they weren't of any help lol.

GRRRRRRRR even changed the settings in the schticker book and still cant take screenshots

i dont know about this but i have seen other threadds about this and they said that it might not be in the toontown folder. and some1 else said (to some1 with the same problem) that the hard part is finding the picture after its taken. 1 of my sfs has a problem that whenever he takes a snapshotit kicks him off of tt.hope that helps

After trying. . . searching my comp and so onnnnnnnnnn. . . I FINALLY got my F9 to take screenshots . All I did was DL this file Toontown Windowed (etc.) then reset active x, rest direct x 8 and made my comp screen a smidgeon smaller. Woooooohoooooo now I gots screenshots.

The same thing happened to me. Disney emailed me this and it solved the problem!

We believe that running Toontown in DirectX 8 mode will help solve
your problem.

Configuring Disney's Toontown Online to use DirectX 8:
- Click on the "Start" button
- Click on "Run..."
- In the box that comes up, type (including the quotation marks):
"C:\Program Files\Disney\Disney Online\Toontown\Configrc.exe" -dx8 -save
- Click OK
NOTE: A black box may pop up and disappear. This is normal.
- Restart Toontown
