After defeating the VP once, you will recive one S.O.S. card. If you are in trouble or need more gags, remember, S.O.S. cards only do one thing so if you want a different one, you must defeat the VP again, you will click on the SOS section located right next to run. 8 boxes will apper on the left hand side and you friends list will apper on the right hand side. (Note: If your friend has never been to that area or you are in a building/factory/VP no one will show up.) By clicking on one of the cards, you will use it's affect but it's a one use thing and you must defeat the VP again if you want your card back or if you want muitiple cards.

SOS cards are not really friends, they are rescued Toontown citizens. The nasty cogs kidnap them and lock them in cages. To get one you must first defeat a VP. But before you can do that, you must first get your entire cog suit by defeating the factory foreman. You need 10 suit parts so you must go into the factory and defeat him 10 times. After that you will need to earn what is called cog merits. How many merits you need depends on what cog suit you have. For a first time suit, you will be a cold caller level 1 and you will need only 20 merits. I will warn you now that there are many people in the VP Lobby who will abandon a cold caller on the elevator simply because they see a suit level and think that person has no idea how to play. There are toons around who will help you though and have no issue with cold callers on the elevator. Anyway, after you succesfully defeat the VP, the rescued toon will jump out of his cage and be so thankful that he will allow you to call him one time in the future to assist you in battle. Who you rescue is completely random, and each particular SOS toon has only one skill to offer you. I've attached a sample page from my own toon. You will notice the stars on each card, the more stars there are, the stronger that particular card is. They range from 3 to 5 stars. If you'd like further explanation, pm me a secret friend code, and I'll be glad to help.

Some SOS Cards do indeed restock the team's Gags. Professor Pete restocks everything, and there are SOS cards to restock single Gag tracks -- I have a Melody Wavers card (Restock Sound) in my book right now.
There are Lure and Toon-Up cards, as well as "Cogs Miss" and "Toons Hit". (Toons Hit is my favorite for VP or tough DDL buildings: Used with Lure and TU it can pull a team from the edge of defeat in a single round!) Also, you can get Sound, Trap, and Drop cards... some of which are extremely powerful. Think of all the Cogs being awarded 170-point Grand Pianos, dropping into 180-point Trap Doors, or being rocked by an 80-point Fog Horn and you get the idea what the really cool attack cards can do for you. With any of these cards, the number of stars on the card (3 to 5) gives you an idea how strong the card is. The more stars, the stronger! There is an SOS Card Guide here on ToonTown Central, in the Cog HQ section. Check it out for the real scoop on SOS Cards.
