That depends on what programs you have for working with images! I don't use the built-in MS Paint very often, but it can do what you need. I did this crop in there in about 30 seconds.

Use the 'select' tool to outline the area you wish to crop and then 'cut' it or copy it, either puts it on the clipboard. Then select 'new' to create a new image and 'paste' the cutout onto it. You can then use the handles on the outline of the image to drag the size of the picture to match your cutout. Save the result as a .Jpg image and you are finished. You can also use paint to 'stretch' the image. This function can be used to reduce the size which is needed for making an avatar for example. It isn't the best way to do it, but it works if you don't have any other graphics programs installed.

From my privious post:

Quote:
You can then use the handles on the outline of the image to drag the size of the picture to match your cutout.
The border of your picture in paint has tiny little blocks at the corners, and midway point between each corner. Move your mouse over one of these blocks and it will change to a double arrow. Click and drag that border to make it larger or smaller. You can also use the 'image' 'attributes' box to change the size of your canvas to a numeric value (such as 64x64).

When you move your mouse over the little 'box' on the very edge of the image in paint, it changes to look like a double ended arrow. Left click and drag that box toward the cropped picture you put inside until the white border is even with the side of that image. Do the same thing from the bottom of the image. Drag that box in the middle up toward the bottom of the picture until it is even. When done your canvas will be the same size as your image.

If anyone can explain this better, please give me a hand with this will ya? I am more used to doing these things in larger graphics suites.
