Defense against damage???

I know you will think I am crazy, but did anyone ever think they could avoid damage by doing ANGRY just as a cog attacks you?
Not too early and not too late, but if I do it just as the cog releases its attack -- (when that is is fuzzy, I know...)
But it seems like it makes them miss!!!

I haven't seen anything about this in a forum.
But try it a little before you call me crazy!

Yes, I do that hehe. We should do a test and see, how often the cogs miss if you jump or not.
I also say "This Way" or "Follow me" when I lure and that helps I think maybe sometimes I dunno..
I figured it was just my imagination.
I used to think whoever got on the elevator last between floors got attacked.
Usually but not always, the cogs attack the attacking toons, but there are times when I just toon-up and still am the target of their wrath.

We need to do a study on this.

Cogs, like mobs in a lot of games, seem to be smart enough to realize that it's best to take out the healer first

Hehehe. I usually find I take MORE damage when I egg a cog on or tell him "You stink!" or "Stop that!". Most of the time my friends say "Oops, you shouldn't have said that, now you're gonna make him mad!". LOL.

The best way to avoid damage is to not inflict any or at least not the most. Cogs usually attack those who have given them the most damage.
