Now I know this is a loaded question, but I don't mind..

Anyone done anything as stupid as me... picking the task of 200 four story buildings to take over, and 400 two story buildings? This is my last 3 laff points without fishing for the 4 story buildings and I seem to have been working on it forever.. YIKES.

Anyone have any ideas? Without camping on TT for 24 hours a day til they are done? Or.. anyone willing to go on a run for buildings with me?

Been there, done that, and some of my friends are still doing it.

Back in the old days, before apprentice tasks and lots of tasks offered just for beans, Monty took the 200-4 and 400 2-story task simply because I got tired of picking new tasks for looks and clothes. It took FOREVER to clear the 2-story task and it was just for a look I didn't even like.

My best guess is he defeated somewhere around 7500 cogs before he got done with the 2-story task. That's because most of the buildings he got called on to help with were 5-story in DDL. LOL

I finally got serious one week and decided to hit the 2-stories. Alone I could blow my way through them (my fav's being in DG) in a few minutes. Course, didn't rack up any experience, but, didn't need it. If I had the opportunity to help a noob, I would use gags appropriate for the cog. So, make the task work for you. Shoot for a gold star. Nicky got one of those just knocking off 40-2 stories and helping her friends. Have fun!

Thanks. Nice to hear others that feel my pain.. hehe. Its not really killing me since i have 100 lp and am enjoying the vp runs a lot too..
I might have to try that one day.. to get a gold star.

Hey, Prof -- I'd be happy to help you take over those buildings. I'm trying to get the hypno goggles, and that would give me the opportunity to earn some experience. Besides, I'm still licking my wounds from lost VP battles, and could use a break!

Maybe Thursday or Friday night???

You know I will be there! hehe.. BTW.. I just got my level 5 Name Dropper promotion. You are way ahead of me in the lure dept. though.. I will help ya w/ that! only 128 more buildings to go!

My husband just finished that 400 two story building one....he's ahead of me in the game so I will definitely NOT be taking that one!
What a haul it was...he did manage to get other tasks done while he was doing that one but it was still crazy.
Now he got his toon Binky to 102 (his first major goal was to get over 100 laff) , but he's exhausted so he's taking it easy until he gets on with the next goal, maxxing.

I dont envy you, my friend has these same 2 tasks now.....not fun!

the best advice I can offer anyone <to late for you> is NEVER accept a task from an HQ officer if you go to the shops you will find the same rewards offered for easier tasks!

ok heres another tip, once you get past your manditory tasks, almost every single shop on every street will offer you cogs for beans 1 time, not buildings and not specific cogs <you can get that to> but just cogs so you can go help your friends or do the factory or vp and it all counts!

I currently have a full bank and 4200 beans worth of tasks i cant turn in because of it, so i got 9k to redecorate when i get my series 3 catalog on saturday!!!
