Solution to SPECIFIC cog tasks

I just discovered something will will make those 200 or 300 "yessmen or anyother cog" tasks go quickly away <can i name the cogs or do i have to call them evil kid cog so i dont hurt their feelings >

I searched the theads so i believe this is new

ill use exactly what happend to me for example

2 days ago i discovered that if i found bossbots on walruss way but not many because it had to many toons there all i had to do was switch districts and on the same street were bossbots in fact in every district on walruss way there there were bossbots! the first night i hit the bldgs. 1 and a half hours netted me 7 yessmenfor a total of 29 out of 300...not good. yesterday i logged into a kinda slow district found a street with bossbots walking around and started picking off the yessmen off the street then it got more crowed and other toons started taking out the buildings and the street cogs dried up so i switch districts to the slowest one i could find. I was all alone on the street and not many yessmen but i left the others alone to make more buildings soon there were 6 buildings pumping out cogs like crazy all for me!!
I 4 hours i netted 130 yessmen for a total of 159!!! If it wouldnt have been for work in the morning id have all 300 by now

So if you need a certian type of toon or even a certian type of cog find a slow district and a street with what you want and just take the street cogs letting the buildings make more for ya and if the streets start to dry up <not because of other toons> just head to the playground regag and heal and in five minuits or so run back in and walla mor fodder for the grinder!


BTW iv only tried this for 2 days so i guess i could be a fluke <same street, all districts> but im hopeing its not.

No fluke bagel. If you switch districts, you can look down the same street to find different cogs. The same goes for buildings. If you're looking for a specific type of building, switch districts. Also, a great tip for the newbies out there is if you need to go to a certain building say, Ahab's Prefab Sea Crabs and it's taken over by cogs in one district, switch districts. It's a guarantee that you don't have to take over the building because you WILL eventually find one Ahab's that isn't taken over by the cogs in another district.

Also certain cogs are more prevelant on certain streets. For example, bossbots:

You can find them in Donald's Dock on Lighthouse Lane for the low laffers, and you can find them Minnie's Melodyland on (I can't remember the name of the street) but it's the one leading to Donald's Dreamland. In the Brrrgh, you can almost always find them on Walrus Way.

I usually find that if you go to a busier district, you'll find MORE cogs though. But you can go to a less populated district & find a building like Bagel did & just watch them putt out of the building.

ya but in busier districts theres more toons trying to take down the buildings im depending on for new targets!

I also forgot to mention that the 2 highest lvl cogs of each goup can ONLY be found in buildings and second that there seems to be a limit of 6 buildings per street so if your looking for bossbots and theres a stray lawbot building in there take it out and youll get even more bossbots

the streets will always have the same kind of cogs some streets have 2 or more different types, like the one in DDL. And changing districts is always a good idea but even better with cog radar which helps with specific cogs and their buildings

True the highest of each are only found in a building, excpet during invasions.

There is no limit on the number of buildings per street I have seen. On Baritone Blvd in MM, I have seen on cog radar eleven cash buildings alone. With a scattered sell mixed in.

yup i found this out at 1:30am last night ran into 10 bldgs. on walrus way and the yessmen were litteraly jumping on top of me <my task was 300 yessmen> which i completed in around 10 hours! Now i have bean tasks again <god i was so broke!>

also Id like to add that this tactic is best used late at nite since between 8pm and 10 i had groups of toons running around taking out the buildings i needed to supply me cogs but once they thinned out there was no shortage of targets.
