Question Signing up outside the US

Well, I can't find a FAQ about this, other than the rather non-useful Disney one ("we are working hard to bring you Toontown in your country"), so here's the question. I know, having read posts in this Forum, that there are non-US people signed up and playing Toontown. I'd love to join up - my daughter has really enjoyed her three-day trial, during which time there were NO warnings that only US/Canadian credit cards were accepted, and is very unhappy that we don't seem to be able to pay with a UK card. Anyone have a way to sign up and pay from outside the US/Canada?

There HAS to be! I play regularly with several people in the UK! I'll ask them what cards they use.

They do accept international credit cards, they just don't accept international addresses. You'll need to find a US address (just nab one from any company's website) and then you can put in your own credit card number, and it will be fine.

By the way, the exchange rate is fab at the moment so a whole year's subscription is only £42. I bought my year's subscription last September and it cost about £55.

Toontown does is not currently set up to receive international addresses. Just do as Apple suggested. You won't get all the "goodies" they send in the mail but frankly, I get them & I could live with or without them. They just send you stuff like posters & trading cards. LOL.

But that's how I've heard people outside of the US & Canada can get access. Just find an address in the US, use their address as yours & use your credit card. They SHOULD tell you which cards they accept, probably stuff like Visa, American Express, mastercard, etc. Good luck!
