Jellybean Bank Question....

All right I have been in Towntoon for about 4 months. So I don't feel quite like a newbie. But I have a seemingly newbie question ( I have done searches for any threads on the subject; I can't find an answer.)

SO..... here is the question....


My Bank only holds 5000 jelly beans... I have 3 completed tasks for 2000 more. If I turn them in what happens to those beans since the bank only holds 5000? Do I lose them? Do they disappear?

You lose them. I also have a 5000 jb bank and it has been a long long time since it has been down very many beans. I have more beans than I can possibly use and so I don't worry about them. I turn in tasks for a quick laff fill and get new ones just so I can say, "I need to defeat cogs." I carry 250 jb's and only once, (after getting the steel rod) have I had to hit the bank up for more jb's.

On another note...a friend didn't order the bigger bank when it first became available. He is now STUCK with a 1000 jb bank and it is frustrating for him. He no longer has the larger jb bank offered and if it isn't offered after he finishes his final cog tasks for laff point boosts, I don't know what he's going to do. There are many things you can't even buy without the bigger bank. Has anyone else experienced the problem of the bigger bank disappearing from the backorder in the catalog?

i also have more jb's then i can use, what i do is just save those completed tasks until i use up all the jb's in my bank by buying new stuff out of my cattlelog. gosh i wish we could have more stuff in our houses! when i turn in all completed tasks i get more and they quickly get completed.

Okay, if you are carrying 250 Jar Bank it will be filled to the max (250 JBs) it can hold. The other 1,750 Jellybeans will be overflowed into your Jellybean Bank at your estate.

I have the 5000 bank thank goodness! I could not imagine still having the 1000 bank still. I buy as much furniture as I can and phrases, etc. I have also noticed that some items and phrases that I wanted to purchase have disappered. Oh well I hope they come around again. Guess I will just turn in the task and kiss the beans a fond farewell. Man what a waste! Can someone talk to Disney so I can add a wing to my house or build a vault?

Heh, instead of asking us, since you want to. Why don't you ask Toontown...but that is a great idea about a vault or another wing to your house.

i have noticed some phrases and furniture and such does come back around.

Hey, I have that problem on my test toon, she is currently waiting for cattelog 2 series 13-Tommorow-yeah! And she hopes the bank will be in there. I need to buy that worthless gold rod. My bank only holds 1000 beans. However i just bought my shrug, missed it in the first series. I guess all my complaining to Disney paid off, they informed that they will introduce the larger bank in cattelog 2 and 12. I just missed it when they released the new notes.

If you mean Cattlelog 13, no.

Series 1 #6 and #12
Series 2 #6 and #12
Series 3 watch this space...

Of course if you already have the 5000 bean bank, then no more upgrades (YET!)

since you turn in the 3 tasks one-at-a-time... turn one in, jump to your estate and buy something from the cattlelog, head back to HQ, turn in a second... go spend some more... then turn in the 3rd...

it looks to me like its a sales trap. you dont buy the big bank cause u think you dont need it, post on the site, tell everyone your worries, then they turn around and buy the big bank because they know whats going to happen! (but i like that new wing idea....... that would be so cool!)
