disappearing

I have noticed a few times that another toon will just disappear without opening their book and throwing down the black spot. Is this something you get from the Cattlelog or maybe I am lagging and that is all it shows me. I know they are not logging off because one of my friends will say follow me and then do it and I can TP to her.

I have noticed that too.

Also when I click on "Go To" whichever friend, it is like my computer skips-a-beat... No teleport hole, I just go right to them.

That is probably what you are seeing.

As far as I know this happens when you teleport to a friend who's in a different district. Don't know why.

Yes, what you didn't see was the other toon getting a message from a friend, "Can you teleport to me?" Then when they clicked "Go to...", a window popped up and asked then if they wanted to change districts. The moment they clicked "Yes" they were gone.

I wish that we would at least get a warning on our screen... something like... "hold the line... your friend is getting a call, if they decide to accept this call they may be disconnected, meaning 'POOF', gone like magic!

What amazes me is to watch the annoying toon that has been rudely interfering with my friend and I trying to chat. After 5 minutes of jumping between us, doing shotgun blasts of aimless chat, saying you stink, etc, to watch them suddenly wink out always leaves me with a question.

To be able to do that, they need to have someone on their friends list. Considering how rude they are, how in the heck did they ever get anybody dumb enough to do that?
