Your gags are like mine were, except I was more keen on using TU. My suggestion to train sound would actually be the mints, because most of the toons have level 6 sound so if the group uses two level 6's and 5's, all the cogs in a battle (except the last one) will explode! You can train TU a lot in facs, mints, DAs, and especially boss battles. You can train drop with a friend or TF (Which tons of people would love to be on this site). My main toon has trap, but when he was 107 laff he had level 5 trap
Now he has level 7 organic trap, and he's 113 laff. All you really need to do is use it with higher level drop or with squirt. For some reason squirt makes drop work more often, but not all the time unfortunately :/Hope this helps! Edit: For lure just use it during invasions, or solo buildings or something. Squirt just slowly maxes itself as you randomly use it ![]()

maxing gags:
Ok, in my opinion, with those gags you are marginal for doing a mint. You need a good all-cog lure and you need to be able to heal serious damage on all toons. This is because the team seldom has the opportunity to let more than one toon take time off from the attack. In addition, most toons are running the mints for cogbucks and want to get through quickly. Here is my suggestion. Get a friend, hopefully a True Friend. Somehow get into Nutty River so there is an invasion going on. Pick out a four story bldg in the Brggghhh, but not Polar Place...the cogs in there get mean sometimes. Blow through the first two floors as quickly as possible. Third and fourth floors multiply the points you get for each gag use, and those are doubled for invasions. Now, on the third floor start to "work" a previously agreed on gag. Some gags work well together for that, like lure and sound and toon-up. You lure the cogs, have your buddy annoy one with some small gag, you pass and your buddy gets hit. Heal him with your second best toon-up as he annoys the cog again. You get the same points no matter if you are healing for 1 LL or 20 LL. When it is time for the cogs to unlure sound them, then when their attack is over, lure them again and heal each other. Keep this up as you work your way through the third floor. Watch the points you get for each gag selection, when you see it decrease and drop to zero you have maxed the increase for this building and that gag (+200 is all you can get). When you get to the top floor, start using your top gags for the same kind of stuff. For toon-up, we often wipe out all the cogs but one big guy. The support team goes in with really tiny gags and annoy the big cog while you busily heal them. You usually won't get attacked if all you are doing is toon-up. Developing drop is tougher. If you go after big cogs with small drop they will miss a lot. But you get the idea I hope. You play the cogs for suckers and max your gags. But like I said, you really need a TF to be your support team. Good planning (gag purchase) and good communication are critical. You can easliy get 30 points per gag hit in many cases. Once you get the four story methods down, move up to five story. Once you realize you are tougher than the cogs, this whole thing gets easy and becomes fun. And I think mints are the second worse places to train gags (first is boss battles). Good luck.

Right now there are Bossbot invasions going on in every district, and this has helped me improve my gags. My tip can help you upgrade your gags, and help weaker toons at the same time!
![]() Go to TB, since that is the place where toons can find LOM and get the dreaded 20 4+ cog buildings. Most toons look for cog buildings in TB after getting that task, and are lookling for stronger toons to help them out most of the time. Go with them in a cog building, and focus on mainly using the gag you want to upgrade. Definitely do not only use that type of gag, because then the other toons will probably get mad at you. As for which gag to upgrade, I would probably say you should work on both drop and toon-up. If the group of toons you go with (look above) uses mainly squirt, then you can work on your drop easily. If they want to go for each cog on their own (trust me, this happens A LOT when I go for some reason), then you can use toon-up on your turn while they pummel the cogs. Hope this helps! ![]() |
