Different task lists to get the same results?

I don't understand why there are different task lists for the same results.

I'm stuck in the Brrggh doing a task which goes to 7 layers of killing cogs. If I had gone to Polar Place instead of Walrus Way, I could have been done with the task in two steps.

So..why should there be different steps for the same task just because you went to a different place?

At this point, I am not going to even try to finish the task. It's gotten boring and I'm not enjoying the game.

Which task you might ask? In order to carry 4 tasks, it started at Walrus Way with killing 10 Minglers, Now I have to do Corporate RAiders, then four other levels of cogs. I found out today that at Polar Place I could have gotten the same task and do two levels of cogs.

I see no reason why I would want to carry 4 tasks now!

It's more to give the player a choice; sometimes 10 cogs sounds better than a 2 story cog building-or vice-versa.

The task you have is the original, Hysterical Harry, 4 Toontask carry, and before Polar Place was put in it was the only one.

Now you have March Harry, obviously a relation, who gives you more Law based task with less elements in it.

The idea for original task and a lot of BRRRGH tasks was to get you going places you probs had not done a lot of before, up to BRRGH getting through tasks meant you didnt need to venture in too many builds getting cogs that reside only in builds, so if you wanted to you cud do most of it in streets.

Now as you start to move into the big league, tasks befcome oriented to getting cogs in builds and other places, and help to build gags further ready for hardest areas of game.

There are 2 other tasks that you can get in Polar Place as alternatives, all are law based I beleive, being thats its route to law HQ, I spose they thought they should put a few tasks on polar place and add some variety in BRRRGH I spose, why they made this one a lot easier, who knows.

Either way, the tasks don't get easier as they go on, with LOM's last gag track and then DDL tasks, if you're fed up and bored now, not sure how you're gonna make it to 100 laffs and task freedom.

Find yourself some friends in similair situation and lighten the load a little and no sorry I'm not offering, I am too busy with boss battles in preperation for solos. Best way to get these are builds in DDL 5 level, get a couple of friends together or go to busier dsitricts youll get them in now time.

Oh and BTW its not 7 types of cogs only 4, and a bit of fishing in between

Aww don't give up now! You can do it. Think of the Brrrgh this way, it gets you ready for Dreamland and running mints for the CFO. Set yourself goals for each day, and do it at your own pace. The little old man task takes awhile, so you are just getting warmed up for him.

Growing your first toon is much harder than subsequent toons. You make a ton of mistakes on your first toon, that you avoid thereafter. Don't fret though! Use the stickied playground task guides in this section by the Dogfather, and make it a point to shop around from now on. There are many, many aspects of this game to master, and this is just one.

PLEASE come to the Toons to the Rescue meeting spot today. I'd be glad to help you. I like buildings and all you need is a building partner. There's too much competition in busy districts for good buildings. We'll do twosies in level 5s and get a chunk of your task over with. Not to mention a nice boost in your gags.

That's 8pm EST in TTC PG near HQ in Bouncytown. Come up to a largish toon and whisper "Great!" That's how we know toons seek us out deliberately.

The reason for both tasks is they apparently couldnt eliminate the old brrgh tasks when they added new ones to make polar place functional. They had to have had enough complaints about Hysterical Harry (who makes LOM a walk in the park) to make a simpler task, because the other two replacement tasks require the same effort as the older choices.

People who run 2 toons still pick Hysterical Harry since they do most of their tasking in bldgs anyway. I think that's the only circumstance where toons deliberately take HH over MH.
