Question for maxed toons

I have a question for all those toons maxed in golf and racing. Did you all do it with two accounts, letting yourself win? Or did you do it with one toon, maybe friends letting you win? Because if I ever have the patience to max those, should I purchase another account?

Well, very few do it with all randoms. For racing I did about half with randoms and half with another account. Just depends what you have available and what you want to be able to say you've accomplished.

Thanks for the info Joe! I probably won't buy a second accout unless I really want to max them fast! Plus I only have one computer and I heard it is hard to play 2 accounts on one computer.

Out of the two, racing can be done easy with randoms, as long as you are good at it. Some of my races were done with friends, but I would say about 90% of all my races were with randoms. I finished racing in just under 2 weeks. Golfing will just take too long with randoms, so I would suggest maxing golf by running 2 toons. Plus by doing that, you will get lots of multiplayer games played on the toon you are not planning on maxing at the time.

In golf, I'm going with randoms but I must admit that it is very difficult because of toons that alt-f4 out on the 8th hole when they are losing.
I would have completed the 9 hole course of 100 wins by now if it weren't for toons that bailed on me when they knew they would lose. If you go with randoms, you can expect at least 10% bail rate from my own personal experience.

I like the randoms because it gets me a chance to meet new toons plus I really don't have the time or energy to start a 2nd account. I've made about 8 new friends by going with the randoms.

It all depends on what you're trying to accomplish.

For racing, I would guess just over 50% of my races were with friends. For golf, maybe 25%? I go with randoms in almost every aspect of Toontown.

I have a second account, but I don't play them together. I don't use spoofer, and our router didn't work when our second computer did. (My daughter REALLY wants to play together, we have been on TT for 4 years and have only played together a handful of times )

Maxing these things are easiest (for those of us on one account and willing to go "random") if you work on it consistently when it first comes out, because that is when there are the most people in those areas.

Good luck maxing. Remember, TT isn't ALL about skill or luck, a great deal of it is about persistence!

I only need 3 more trophies to max golf. I have done it with friends and randoms. When playing with friends I do not want them to lose for me. I want to max golf without help. Now racing will be a different story. I only have 13 trophies on racing. I haven't had help yet but will because I am horrible at racing.
