question on the installer?

okay idk if this is in the right place or not?
but...
i have windows vista and i have downloaded toontown like 5 times.
i don't know how to access it without it downloading again.
and it takes like 20 minutes to download.
what am i doing wrong?
i just click on the icon, log in, and it starts downloading.
im like ahh stop!
lol.
but yeah do i need to do something different?
or is it my computer?

I don't have Vista, but from my experience you should let it download then hit "Play".

What I am curious about is what happens after Toontown downloads?

So you've downloaded it all but every time you log in it goes to download it all again, is that right?? that's a bit weird. It should just load the game up for you once you've downloaded it unless it doesn't fully download. I can only suggest that you just sit there while it's downloading and make sure it does 11 phases before it tries to start the game. Otherwise sorry hopefully someone else can help, you.

Once it's downloaded it starts the game. All it does is just add the Flippy icon to you're desktop (same as web log in only flippy is blue and not brown) and then when you double click on the icon it loads the launcher screen..

What about justg going to the Toontown site by search, what does it do then? Does it give you a "Play" option/button?

Have you tried installing toontown the old way?, I did that on my cousins laptop the other day as I couldn't SF on my cat so I just re-downloaded it that way and it worked. I can log in via the site without having to download the launcher.

is it putting a toontown icon on your desktop when you download the vista installer?

It did not for me andi had to find the folder it installed into and find the shortcut and send it to my desktop. it is a different icon than the original. it is a blue dog instead of the brown dog.

EDIT: Once you send the icon to the desktop you will no longer have to install everytime and it will just load the login page. pm me if you need any help and i will be happy to help you

to the people who asked: yep i have tried doing it the old way but it won't download that way.
