So, how do the Cog HQs fit into the toon tasks?

I've been looking over the guides that Dog Father and others are putting together.

I am in the Brrgh and not far enough to know the answer to my question. I know that so far, I've had tasks (towards a new gag generally) that require defeating a factory and that gives me sellbot suit parts. Will I have tasks that require fighting the VP? I see that there are tasks to get cashbot suit parts and (I assume) lawbot suit parts. Are there tasks that require you to then use these suits and go in to the HQ and fight?

So, I guess, I am asking... are you required to work your way up through the suits?

Another related question is... do you ever earn teleport access to a cog HQ? or do you forever have to TP to the closest playground and run through the street to get there? Jsut curious.

No you are not required
No tp access to Hq's ever
No tasks for, Beat the cfo once, or Get to Big Wig in your law desguise (which you need to to a few tasks to get your desguise)

There was a task before cash hq came out that was to beat the vp with someone 60 laff or lower, but it was removed

Since Kit already answered, I will just reinforce that we are working towards completing this guide ASAP, lots of work. Once the guide is finished it will in itself answer lots of questions, but if there is anything specifically you or anyone thinks should be added, please post your ideas. There is lots of info that can be added to the guide, and a lot of info is being taken into considerations, such as recommendations before proceeding to the next PG, making sure to shop around for tasks....etc.

DogFather, please don't misunderstand my question. I am very grateful for your guide and have used it a lot through MML and as I get into the Brrgh. I'm not trying to rush you at all. I think it'll take me a while to get to Donald's Dreamland anyway. lol I was just curious. Poppy is a cat, so you know where curiosity will get her. I am just not all that enthused about the Cog HQs at this point... seems monotonous to me to do the same thing over and over. So I wondered if I would "have" to do it... as much as you "have" to do any of this since it's just a game.

As Kit said, all tasks that require a boss fight are voluntary, as in : Help a toon with 50 lp fight the Vp, or a toon under 85? into CFO( didn't know they removed those) and you are never given a required task for lp or gags for a boss fight.
We have asked for TP access to the bosses over and over and still Disney will not, I think they want toons to mingle.

Nope, you never made me feel rushed. I think the only person rushing me is myself, LOL. Curiosity is a good thing, especially when you are new. I think its good to ask questions. Every and any questions, no matter how small or large, is important. You dont have to do the cog HQs if you dont want to, but they can be fun if you go in with the right crowd and make it more challenging. It does seem montonous doing the same battle over and over, but if you ever do max, you will enjoy that feeling of completion sooo much.

Bossbot hqs...only did the ones necessary (like in Daisy Gardens) to move along...when I finished all the tasks at 100+ laff...there was nothing to do...well, I helped other toons with their tasks for weeks...finally decided to work on Sell HQ...

Now I only wonder WHAT on earth is WRONG with me? The best part of the game and have made the most wonderful friends...since we are all working to the same goal!

My new black cat already had her Sell Suit before getting to Daisy Gardens!

Try it...you might like it! (Okay...so it took me many battles to decide it was fun...but my friends encouragment was awesome.)

You are absolutely right, next to the having friends on TT and being able to talk to people, the boss hq battles are probably the second most fun activity on TT. Its just awesome seeing the coordination between 8 different people and taking over a huge boss.
