I recently had this, having played TT for over a year with no problems, all of a sudden I started disconnecting as you say.

I have friends who have suddenly experienced this too.

There are many ideas in the Computer Technical Support forum, but my solution was to drop my MTU size. Haven't had problems since really. Very strange.

See here for how I was told to do it on my router. Might help, you never know.

My suggestions:

If you have a program called "disk cleanup" use it and it will clean up unnecessary files which in turn, makes your comp run faster.

You could always try restarting the computer

Try closing all programs in the background before you start playing tt.

Perhaps you need to update?

That's all I got for now =/

YOu know what, i had this EXACT problem for the LONGEST time. I would play anywhere for 5 mins to an hour or more, then it would say "Sorry your connection to the servers has been unexpectedly broken". [or something along those lines] I had no idea why. I emailed them and they said it was because i was using a wireless router. I was like "WHAT?! No." Because i know tons of people who use wireless routers who use wireless routers and such. So then i thought it was my graphics card. But i checked, and i was supported. I got REALLY fed up one night and looked on google for around two hours for a fix for this, and i came across some forum that said to try "Port Triggering" so i followed the instructions [there's pictures and tons of different routers to choose from so you can pick which one you have] and it worked. NO MORE DISCONNECTING FOR ME. I'll try to find the forum again and post it back on here.

Edit- I guess it was on this forum, i never knew that. Go to this link : Fix for Broken Connection [merged]
