Arrow Lured Cog attack charts

Does anyone know where I can find some of these? I was in a pm asking how to tell which Cog has the lure bonus at what times:

Street cogs have lure bonus, as do cogs on a boss run, such as VP.

In mints, the cog you tag (right-most) and left hand cog have lure bonus.

In DA's there is what's known as "multi bonus". If the engaged cog is hit with lure bonus, any other cog hit in that same round with the same gag will have the benefit of it too. Trappers should, therefore, never take out the right hand cog!!!!! Takes away the bonus then!

That's about it really.
Hope it helps.

Ok, what I need now is a chart of attack patterns for:

Cogs in sets of 2
Cogs in sets of three
And Cogs in sets of four

I need that to clear things up a bit lol.

By attack patterns I mean, which Cog do you attack first? And then which Cog after that one? And then whats the third Cog? Left or right?
Ok, can I copy this whole pm and post it in "Tips tactics and questions' to see if anyone does know?
I guess?

So can anyone find what I'm looking for?

No, if you attack Cogs in groups of more than one, sometimes the lure bonus does not take effect.

No they don't. We're talking about 'kickback' here. If you hit a level 11 lured cog with an organic birthday cake, only the ones with 'kickback/lure bonus' will die from that cake.

I have posted this info a few times in regards to when lure bonus will work and when it wont, but Jo has done a great job explaining it already. I have not looked but is it present on any of the gag guides? If its not, I can look through my old posts and re-post that info.

Nope, only selected "special" cogs are prone to lure bonus 100% of the time. The others, its by luck that you get the bonus.

I thought the game just messes up when the lure bonus doesnt work. I thought it was like a glitch or something.

Nope. The art of advanced luring requires much strategy if you want those 1 hit kills. With whatever doesn't give you kickback is based on whether the system wants to be nice to you today.

Hmm, I might test those cog patterns later this weekend.

OK maybe slight off-topic and not what you're after, but in the DA when you face the cogs in front of the elevator, the lure bonus applies to the left and right cogs only.

We lured the cogs and hit the 3 suited cogs with organic birthday cakes, left and right died, middle cog didn't, so he had no lure bonus.

That's just one pattern to note for anyone interested.

11 12 11 11

Raxz, it might be worth clarifying what you need to know still?

I want a chart of what Cogs have the lure bonus at what times like for instance, what Cog has the lure bonus in a 4 Cog group and I don't hit the leftmost or rightmost Cog?

After all, it seems to like to change around a bit if you don't get it right the first time. I want to figure out that pattern.

As I am sure has already been said here somewhere. When you are in the factory, mints or DA the right-most cog and the last cog standing will always get the knock-back bonus when lured. For the rest it is just the luck of the draw, sometimes you'll get the bonus and sometimes you won't.

I have to disagree with this statement. I have experienced the exact opposite many times.

Can you please let us know what you have experienced, because what I have experienced is the same as Truly Scrumtuous. When you hit the rightmost cog (the weakest cog) and you hit any other cog, both will experience kick back. I dont think it matters what gags you use, because I have seen different combos, but I have seen this time and time again in DAs where we use an organic cake on the rightmost 11 and cake and pie on the 12 (skele); both will kick back.

My experience has been where one of the group will attack the right most cog and another toon will go for the left-most cog. While the right most cog always gets the knock back bonus the one on the far left sometimes doesn't. I admit I have barely played in the last six months but this is the way I remember my most tortuous DA office D's.

Does this help Raxz?:
(From the thread Building up gags quickly)

*** Lure exception: Reinforcement cogs don’t always get the lure knockback bonus, nor do all cogs in the factory. As a general rule any cog that is alone will be subject to the knockback bonus.

For use when Soloing, or when a group is working together.

This is what I have found to be true every single time a reinforcement cog comes off the elevator.

Single reinforcement Cog-------You always get the Lure bonus

Two reinforcement Cogs------You always get the Lure bonus on the second cog killed, only after the first has been killed.

Three Reinforcement Cogs----You get the Lure bonus on the middle cog when you kill him first, then you don't get the Lure bonus on the one that was originally on the left or right. After killing one of those two cogs, you get the Lure bonus on the last one.

4 reinforcemnt cogs-----4 rarley exit the elevator at a time in most soloable buildings. I believe this is true
If looking at 4 cogs in front of you
Cog1-------Cog2------Cog3-------Cog4

Kill Cog1 first---Bonus for this one
Kill Cog4 second----Bonus for this one
Kill Cog3 third---no bonus here, make sure you use enough power to kill as if he wasn't lured
Kill Cog4 fourth---Bonus for this one

Keep Track of how many cogs exit the elevator every time the doors open, and more cogs come out.
Keep in mind you have to treat the group of cogs that exit the elevator as one entity. If reinforcement cogs exit the elevator at seperate times, they need to be treated as a seperate group. The rules for that group (or number of cogs) must to be applied.

Ahh ty for posting this link. It is very helpful, and I try and point people at it when I can. The first two post of that thread are worth reading and printing out. For some reason that sticky was removed in the TTC clean up a few months ago. A big loss in my opinion.

The other table I find extremely helpful is the minimal gag use table on the CCG tactics forum, by Lady Googlebrains.
