Older Toons Helping Newer Toons

I am fairly new to toontown (been playing for 4 months and have a 46 laff point toon). I am even newer to ttc (discovered this site about a month or two ago).

On occasion, I have trouble completing a toontask and could use an older, more experienced toon's help. In looking through some of the posts on ttc, I've seen mention of a "toons to the rescue" group (older toons helping newer toons) but they seem to be older posts and I don't know if this group is still active.

Does anyone know anything about this group? If so, can you point me in the right direction? Or is there any forum on ttc that pairs up newer toons looking for help with older, more experienced toons?

Thanks!

Look in the Clans/Groups forum for the Toons to the Rescue subforum.

Three times a week we take an hour or so to help toons. Just meet us at the meeting time at TTC PG in Bouncytown. Look at the stickied threads for details

Toons to the Rescue

Thank you.

I went to the link and saw the schedule.

The question I have now is how do the helpers know which toon(s) needs help (at the assigned place and time).

Does my toon need to use a speed chat phrase to the effect that he needs help? Or is there some other way to identify my toon as being in need of help? Or does he just stand around and hope a helper comes up to him and asks if he needs help?

Thanks again.
