HELP! PLEASE READ! Chat feature help

How do you use the Keyboard to chat instead of having to get a True Friend? And what do u do if u forgot ur Parent Pass.?

So u dont have to forget,go to mode 3 on chat,and IF you forget,go to TT and click "Forget Password?" and wait for them to answer back on ur e-mail

OK, lemme tell ya, this happened to me.

About two years ago, my dad paid for a 1-year subscription. I played without any Secret Friends. I was fine. Now, I'm playing again and have over 20 Secret Friends. But, when we were trying to reactivate the subscription, my dad didn't remember the Parental Password. So, I went to the Toontown website. I clicked Log In, and then I typed in all that stuff. I went down to Member Services and clicked again on Password Options. I thought, "Now we're cookin!". But, It brought me to a page that said: "Please Call customer service". I was baffled. I tried again and again always getting the same result. Finally, while my dad was at work, I asked my mom if she would call. She called and they gave her the Parental Password after she told them the account name and password.

And you CAN NOT type anything wiht the keyboard unless you have a Secret Friend already. Like King Max Electrotoon said, set the Secret Friends options to No Password required (the third option).

yeah but i've seen ppl using the keyboard to chat, and ALL toons, not just tf (sf)'s can see it! How? Oh, and now I figured out my parent password, so forget the password thing. Now I really want to know how to use the keyboard to chat to EVERYONE in Toontown! Mods, please help!

You can't you can only have 50 friends speedchat and sf chat.
So there only talking to certain people that's the answer...

I have never seen that but you could have like a group of people being sfs/tfs. All they did was give codes to all of them.

You need to exchange sf codes to people to be able to type to them

In order for someone to read your message you must be their sf

I originally SFed myself so I could type silly messages that I couldn't do with SpeedChat. Once I Sfed with someone, I opened that slot on my Friend List. One more thing: Like level 7 gags don't cound toward your total gags, your Doodle dosn't fill a usable spot on your Friend List.

first u need a sf then u can chat. oh 4 ur second Q email toontown iguess

Ok, Listen carefully, if u want to type on your keyboard, but dont have an sf make a new toon. have a doodle on your most common toon. Get a code, then go to your different toon and go to your estate and click on the doodle then hit show owner. Hit true friends and type in the code u got. Now you cam type but no one understands it.

And if you for got your par pass, go to the log-in page and hit forgot pass word, there u type in your email and they send it to you
