Question Tooning Up A Tiny Toon(?)

Sometimes I'm battling in an HQ and need to toon someone up with pies or evidence who is MUCH smaller than me. I find that it's impossible to "hit" them unless they "jump" at just the right time. Anyone have any tips?

Yeah, I've noticed that too... big pain when a Toon is small...

In Sellbot HQ while fighting the VP, I find it easier to hit them with less power. Try holding down the button to throw the pie untill it is at a very small power, then try releasing it. Depending on your postion, it may be harder to hit them, however. Also try to keep close to them, because sometimes that helps. If worse comes to worse, and a small Toon really needs a Toon-up, just try aiming at them from a distance.

I havn't been to the CJ yet, so I can't help you there (if thats where "evidence" comes in)...

Hope any of this helps! Hopefully others will have other ideas...

Ya that'd be a sticky situation if you were small & needed a TU. My advice is to not go into a CJ small unless your 100% sure about your team & their CJ'ing ability. If you went in small anyway, it's either the small toon has to have well timed jumps or TU them from a distance I guess

The only boss battle it makes a difference in is the VP. In the CJ, toon effects disappear while you're in there, just like in the mint and DA. In the VP, the easiest way is to stand on the ramp below them so they're up a little from you. You have to face away from the VP, so have your sound on so you know when to jump.

I did that a long time ago, there was this small toon who needed some laffpoints. I kept on trying but it didn't really help.

I think that if you get the pie or evidence in your hand, and the toon jumps where the pie or evidence is, they get a toon-up.

But that was a while ago, I don't know if it works anymore.

Only HQ I have access to is SBHQ (Nearly there in Cashbot). I've found that it's easiest to throw pies as fast as you can, see where they're typically landing, then move so they hit the spot I want. As for Toons needing to be pied, but they don't have SFs there with them, they usually just stand in a pie stream until they've got some more Laff, then quickly thank the pie-thrower and get back on the offensive. Anyone else seen this behavior?

my friend is small almost all
the time, lol. we were in a
VP once and she needed a
TU. we just stood on the ramp.
she stood towards the top
and i was facing towards
her closer to the bottom.
but still really close to her.
it usually works. :]
or just tell them to jump!

I think this is an easy way to Toon-Up someone who is small and needs one very badly:

Make sure before you go in the elevator that there is a small Toonin your group and since you are a small Toon, they will be able to Toon you Up easily (or vice versa)
