Shopping around for new tasks, I came across "Defeat 40 Cashbot cogs in the Brrgh" or "Defeat 4 4+ floor bldgs".

I figure it's no problem - I'll take the Cashbot task as I could combine buildings with street fights.

You ubers probably are already shaking your heads at me.

See, there ARE no Cashbot buildings in the Brrgh. The only cashbots you ever see helicopter in and can only be found 1 or 2 to a street.

I swear I can hear the HQ officers snickering at me when I walk by HQ.

This is a common problem with the Brrgh. And I wish they could even out the distribution of bldgs so that they matched the tasks. It's very frustrating to hunt for hours for one bldg, only to find it occupied.

I know they are there, because I found them myself when, in ignorance, I also took the task. Mind you most of us took that task it seems, cause we all know about the problem.

You can find Cash buildings on Sleet, but you have to really hop between districts to work out where they are. You need building cogdar as well to save walking.

I did more than half of my 40 in street fights in the end. That was way quicker than waiting for buildings to appear.

Im not Uber, but I can find you a Cash in the Brrrgh in 1 min flat. Alll you have to do is ask. Try IRC when it works.

I do it daily, and you got that task I assume because you are able too. Bah, you need to call yourself Uber! =)

Not trying to be mean or anything, but I would have given $20 yesterday to see you all find these cash blds and botsin the Brrrgh. Searching for about an hour or more, Mac and I hopped back and forth between every district and every street. In the end, I was lucky to find 7 cogs, and it took us quite a long time.

I believe this has been said before but... if you are having trouble finding the type of building you need, killing the cogs of that type that are walking on the street is NOT going to improve your odds.

What has worked for me in the past is to clear out some of the other buildings on the street and leave the cog type that you need ON the street so they can take over some buildings.

Yes this takes a bit of time, but it works! I utilized this back when Lil Oldman was making us get the Robber Baron tooth in the Brrrgh (ugh now THAT was a horrible time hehe!).

I believe the task is to defeat Cashbots in The Brrgh, not Cash Buildings.

The resaon peole want Cash buildings is because they believe that is the quick way to get large numbers of a particular type of cog. In this case the task can be achieved by defeating street cogs. Yes, that will not help spawn Cash buildings, but that is not the task the toon was set.

And Spiffy, well mate you rule if you can find Cash buildings in the Brrgh that quickly.

The task was one thing; the reasoning of the player was another. If the player wanted buildings then yes, your advice is correct. The player's task was cogs. If the player chose to do the task by taking buildings then so be it. The task then became even more difficult (albeit unwittingly).

Ummm, actually I have too been in brgg when no cash are present and other times it seemed overrun. It seemed to be the time of day I was on. One night lots of cashbots and bldgs. By morning they all were gone. Later in the day back again. Keep trying. You will get them eventually. May luck be with you.

Seriously, Cash bldgs are not hard to find. I was working on Gold star status tonight and found atleast 10 of them in the Brrgh.

About halfway through that task now.

See, what I was trying to say was that I thought it would be cake to get 40 Cashbot cogs in the Brrgh if I could do it in buildings. And since buildings spawn cogs, there would be more street cogs to fight. Since then, I've seen one Cash bldg. Yep, I've hopped districts. Never seen cashbots on Walrus Way, only on Sleet Street.

Uber toons need to get an advanced version of cogdar that lets you know if certain cogs are in buildings.
