I would diagree on just one thing. Choosing drop or trap as one of your last tracks. I would say, the earlier you get them, the better. lol. My reasoning for this is simply you have more time to work them. So, you will be hgher sooner. Also, I hav chosen sound first on every1 of my toons except 1, and I like that way more becasue I find it hard to do facs. with out sound, because nobody has any patience and just wants to sound there way through. Besides, tu is easy to max once you get it.

This would be my order:
Well, you already start off with throw and squirt. The first gag I'd pick would be Toon-Up because it is the most helpful and it will help you alot in battle with other friends. Second, I'd pick Lure because Drop is plain horrible. Third, I'd pick Trap because since you got Lure you can train trap with the lure you already have. Last, I'd get Sound because it's the easiest gag to max and Drop isn't a good gag to pick over Sound. Good luck deciding on which way to go! |

It doesn't make the VP any harder because 5 out of every 6 toons have toon-up. It is very unlikely that none of the 4 randomly selected toons out of a group of 8 have toon up. It may seem harder for you because you are depending on other toons to do all the toon-up but then again you have substantially more attack than the rest and that counts for something.
For my first I wanted an easy to operate toon that can practice without help, solo, and run with the sound toons so I chose trap and left drop. When you want a more challenging toon that is more dependent on good teamwork you can do things like choose trap without lure or skip toon-up. Other toons have asked for advice and I can't help them over Speedchat. The choice depends on issues that Speechat can't convey. |

I always choose toon up first because it does take longer to max so it's a good idea to get working on it.
The second gag I choose is trap or drop. I prefer drop. I set a goal to have my piano before I leave Minnie's land and to max the piano before I leave the Brrgh. I choose sound last. The reason for that is because sound is a weak gag. By the time you are working the Brrgh you need more powerful gags for those 8+ cogs you will be battling and sound will just keep sending you back to the playground. I have two toons I'm working in the Brrgh right now and I cannot tell you how many times other toons have gone into buildings with us and they sound on the big cogs with their itty bitty bugles. Sound builds really fast because it is so over-used so I don't worry about it. |

I always pick toon-up first. You don't get the option of getting it again until MML, and it's really useful in DG when you finally start doing buildings, facs, etc. That and it takes the longest to train.
It usually takes me longer to finish DG than the Brrgh, because unless I have a friend helping me, most of the toons are clueless and toon-upless and insist on using their pathetic sound to unlure my cogs. So yes, toon-up always first. The rest are always: toon-up, lure, sound, drop (don't like trap very much). On my first toon I got sound last, and I didn't like it. I was getting Cashbot HQ tasks (the mandatory ones) and no one would even take me in the coin because I only had the ahooga. |

ugh, hate drop
I am actually working on a new toon because I was disgusted with drop. I got my first toon up to 106. I almost never use drop. It was nice at first because you could take out some guys with one hit that you couldn't otherwise. But as I got further up I used it less and less. Now with that toon I have everything else maxed, with drop I just have the safe. Blah. Unfun. I wish I had gotten trap, then I could use it with my lure.
Oh well, hindsight and all that. The toon I have now has 65 laff with TU, Sound, Lure, and I will get Trap as soon as I am done with the very loong blizzard wizard stuff. Wish me luck. Melli |

I agree with Black widow kitty. My friend's first toon got sound first and I died in some 4 or 5 story building in DG (50 something laff) with him.
Unless if you're making a tu-less toon of course. (The friend I'm talking about wasn't going tuless xD) |
