How do you people max trap??????!!!!!

People please gimme tips on how you max trap. :-( Trap was my 3rd new gag track. toon up was my last and im farther maxed on toon up than trap (funny how that happens). If you know the best way to max trap quickly and easily, please post it or pm me. THANKS A MILLION!

It took me a long time to max trap but I got there in the end. I just kept going in the bullion mint because you get the skill credit x3 and x2. Hope this helps

Buildings are the best way to work gags. In a 5 story building you get a multiplier of x3 on the last floor. If you go in with a willing friend you can easily train your trap on the fifth floor and get 200 exp, especially if there's an invasion on.

I would not recommend doing Bullion mints with strangers/randoms if you intend on working your gags.

Buildings. In the 5th level if there is a invasion... keep on using trap trap trap because it is a lot of points...make sure you have someone to lure for you.

Invasions,bldgs,V.P.,CFO,etc. Or have a friend help you you trap he/she lures.OR you can just trap then lure and keep it going. But,GOOD LUCK maxing it.

i had trap n i used to buillion like crazy cuz i wanted to maxx CFO...but n e ways....i when i got trapdoor i kept doing buillions and using trap n within a month or two i got the TNT....u kno how in the buillions u usually get like level 10,10,10,11 or sumtin like dat? well most of the time when u guys use sound u kill all the 10's....u keep the 11's alive....thats ur chance to use trap on the 11 and most of the time ppl hel u out if u tell them that u will use trap. :-) dats how I got it rlly easy, hope it works

I have trap and lure, and I spent a lot of time going into 3 & 4 story buildings by myself (if no friends online) so I could throw traps at as many cogs as possible without anyone else killing the cogs. Fortunately, my husband was trying to max the same gags at the same time, and we were able to help each other out a lot. One thing that really helps is to work your gags in buildings in Nutty River because double experience is a great help, and unlike merits, etc., your experience is doubled on every gag you throw during the invasion(s), whether or not there is one at the end. Factories and mints are great because experience is always doubled and tripled respectively, BUT most toons just want to sound through these quickly and tend to get impatient with people who are trying to work any other gag track. Make sure you are with friends who are willing to help you out with trap in facs and mints.

its true. How do you think those 30 laffers have maxed throw/squirt/ sound or toon up.

i have a freind who needs trap training so we just do facotries to gether - he use trap i use lure.

When toontown works again ill help you if you want??

till then you just have to play and play - especially during invasions and in buildings etc.

Umm certainly not by training in facs or mints at others expense, You have to do SOOO many for VP and CFO already. My 25 laffer maxxed her gags working in Nutty, most of the time solo, and as a willing "apprentice" to anyone who needed some beans.

I do agree with the play and play part though .
One of my other toons, I solo'd a LOT of buildings in the invasion district, luring and trapping, and luring again. She was brand new on Halloween, all her gags are maxxed now.
On my first toon, I had trap, but was lureless, that I needed a friends help for, we did a LOT of buildings for the floor multipliers ( and that was before the "era of invasions" began). I think someone has stickied a GREAT guide for "camping" or "milking" buidings somewhere on this forum.

this isnt really a tip but its cool...
u know the mud pile? well if its facing the cogs the lure will hit but if not dont even bother cuz itll miss maybe after 3rd try or 4th it will but usually not. same thing with trap door if the handle is facing to the right side it will not hit if to the left lure will hit (((ur left nd right not the cogs))) nd with tnt if the tnt fire part is facing him itll work =] its juss a lil tip xD

These are the top 5 places.

#1: 5th story of a building, during invasion (36 exp for level 6)

#2: DA office D floor 6, x3.5 throughout. (21 exp)

#3:Bullion mint, x3.0 throughout (18 exp)

#4: CFO, x2.0 throughout (12 exp)

#5: VP Skelecog round, x3.0 throughout* (18 exp)

*I put this in 5th because the CFO is easier to survive, since all the toons need to be at least 85 laff average.

I always choose lure so I can lure my own trap gags.

After that, I would select toon tasks that called for taking out cogs. I would then attack cogs and use my trap and lure.

Invasions cause double of gag experience.

Factory runs cause double of gag experience.

Bullions are either double or triple.

I think the DA Office is double.

Boss runs cause double or is it triple of gag experience.

Boss battles

Once your Dynamite does 110 you can take out 9s.

132 takes out 10s.

156 takes out 11s.

4 story buildings were my main friend.

I solo a lot.

In the factory I would get my merits but throw out two traps, once in awhile I might get in four traps if I was not hurt too much, during the solo trip. The objective was getting the merits though with some experience for trap.

If I only needed a few merits, bucks, or jury notices I would go and solo two or three four story buildings. That way I could work my trap on every floor and score 2.5 times gag experience on the fourth floor.

if you look for four story buildings in Nutty River good luck. So you have to sacrifice leaving Nutty River to work your trap. Otherwise you will fight with other toons for the buildings and you will fight on gag selection.

Once in a while I would do a five story building by soloing, but you have to watch out for the ones that start with level 10 cogs on the first floor. Those you should run away from.

The only way I maxed trap was to pack lots of traps and small sound gags, then bring along a patient friend.
We would go to top floor of a 5 lvl building where I would throw a trap and they would lure.
Once cogs were lured, one of us would use a tiny sound... like the bikehorn... to knock them back without doing much damage.
Then I would trap again while they lured.
Sound again.
Trap and lure again.
Toon up as needed, of course.
And keep doing this until you run out of gags.... preferably with an invasion going on.
It works... it just takes lots of time and a good friend.
