SOS, buildings and Racing Trophies?! @_@

Could someone please explain to me how the SOS cards work...there are only slots for 8 but on the chart there are a lot more...
I assume that since on the cards you have, it says how many of each you currently possess, so this would mean that you can own multiples of a certain card, but you can't own more than 8 types at one time.
Is this right? And if so, do you have to use the cards you have, in order to get another type that you want over one you already have?

Also, another question I have, this one's probably dumb but the practice races don't qualify for trophies right? It has to be the ones with a ticket deposit I'm assuming...just want someone to clarify that for me.

On a side-note, does anyone know why there is a 'COGS INC' building on certain streets? Is that building ALWAYS taken over by cogs?

For your first question, you can only have 8 types, and if all your slots are filled, you have to use all the cards of one type to get a new type.

Not sure about the second, but I'm pretty sure trophy stuff is only in toon battles.

For the third question, ever find shops that don't have a name? When a cog takes it over, it becomes COGS INC.

I might be wrong on some of this, since I haven't played for awhile.

Ok.

Soses, basically you can hold 99 of each card, but you only have 8 slots. Once those are all filled and you get a new one without using up a space, the sos card you just fought for goes to waste.

And races, practices don't count for trophies. That would be too easy. You have to race in toon battles for trophys. Even to get a qualifying 1 race trophy, you must go to a toon battle. After every 10 trophies, you get a laffboost.
