Probably a silly question

Ok - I am an 84 lfer and well this has been bugging me. I cannot seem to jump high. I know when you press the Ctrl you can jump, but it looks like others can jump lots higher. For example, in Cash Bot HQ, in the Mint, I cannot jump out of the sludge like others. I have to use the pedastals. Another is Sales HQ. I cannot get the CAKE barrel after the first set of cogs. I am sure this is probably a very newbie question... Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!!!

nah, its not a newbie question. all you have to do is push the crate, and it will move up and you jump onto that to get the cake crate. another thing that might help, is called glitching if you want to move faster. you press f9 in some spots, but id probably have to point them out. hope this helps!!

hehe, well don't worry everyone can jump just as high as everyone else. However there's a glitch where you can sneak up walls and into cracks and such. I can't seem to do it anymore because taking pics doesn't make me lag as much as it used to. That's how they get up the wall in the paint mixer. And for the cake, you really don't need it anyways, you've probably only used a few gags, and chances are they werent all throw gags. But if u want the cake, you have to push the box closer to the metal crates first.

Well, I do push the crate and my toon just cannot make that jump. Very odd.

What about Cash HQ? If you fall into that sludge, how can you just go over and jump up into the next section? I cannot jump that high. I have to go back to the beginning and use the moving pedastals... Hmm - maybe my computer has some lag or something..

In the sludge in CBHQ, to jump out before you jump you need to press F9, you can do that in many spots in toontown. Like in the big ditch in the VP, you can jump out of it.

Yes F9 is a good way to glitch once in a while but i wouldnt suggest using it all the time.Since it takes a pic that will take up some space and that means taking up more space on your pc one after another.Thats why i only use the Home button or i just click on a toons name alot lol.

I was having the same problem with the crate. You just have to stand on the corner closest to the wall and then try to jump. It took me several trys the first time but now I always get it.

I actually do not know, since you still push the crate and i have no idea what the sludge it.

By the way, you don't have to press F9. Holding down the "Home" key works too.. =D.

It goes back to your own computer. Home works for some, F9 works for some. Those with really fast computers usually can't glitch. If you use F9, it is taking screenshots and will be stored on your PC so you have to go in later to delete them if you want your PC to run faster. I always try Home first, if it isnt working, I will try F9, but only once. Some people hit F9 ten times but it is taking ten screenshots. For me, it is just faster to go the normal way than it is to take screenshots and delete them later.

On jumping, have you tried hitting control a few times while running forward. I think that is what I do.

I use the print screen button to do glitches, works just as good.
