Question I can't find my real friend on toontown! Can someone help?

She's on the trial and I say to meet her somewhere on the phone and we are both in the same place but we can't see eachother!

Are you both in the same district? If you're not, open your shticker book and click on the globe on the right bar. Make sure you're both in the same district.

If you are meeting in "Welcome Valley" you may very well be in different districts - as Welcome Valley is a SUBdistrict of other districts. I suggest you pick a district to meet in outside of Welcome Valley.

Try going to a different district, in Toontown central. Don't go to Welcome Valley though. ;P
Try going to a quiet district so you can find them easily.
^^; Good luck.

Yes, never meet in Welcome Vally, it's a subdistrict. If you try meeting there, you will most likely not see eachother. Also meet in a spot in the district, like the Toon HQ or pet shop.

While you are on the phone with her both of you pick a new district to teleport to. Then meet under the gazebo in toon town central.

Why don't you exchange codes over the phone?

The easiest way to meet someone in Toontown is to give them an SF code! They enter that and become your SF, then your name turns blue on their list, and they just click on your name and select "Go To".

As for why you didn't see your friend, you were probably in different districts. When I want to meet someone, I generally say "Meet me in the gazebo, Toontown Central Playground, Kookyboro, at 3:17PM Pacific Time tommorow afternoon". That specifies neiborhood, location within neighborhood, district, and time. (Also, the gazebo is small, and nearly everyone has tp access to TTC, unlike other neighborhoods.)

Ok, that simplifies things enourmously. If two toons in Toontown are in different districts, and neither can change districts, then the answer to "how do I meet my friend" is: "You can't."

Go bowling instead.

Or go to www.pardus.at and become a spaceship pilot. They don't have "trials" or "districts" there, and it's free. It's actually a rather nice little MMORPG. I play that sometimes when I get tired of Toontown.

Or just cough-up the $5 for the first month of non-trial Toontown. That's not very much money. Subsequent months are $15/month, but there's no commitment to go beyond 1 month. You can cancel at any time, and you're only out $5. That way, you get 6 toons, Secret Friends, SF chat, and ability to switch to any of roughly 40 different districts, each of which is an identical copy of the Toontown world.

Cheers,

best thing to do is ask her where she is and then you can click on that district!
if it says lets say welcome valley (nuttyhills) first go to nuttyhills then click on welcome valley. if it says welcome valley (bouncyville) then go to bouncyville first then go to welcome valley (do you get it?)... if it just says (lets say)
nuttyhills well then just go to nutty hills...

She can indeed change districts on a trial.

I don't think the OP understands though.

You are on a different game server than your friend is. You will need to change them to meet. On every server each place looks the same. You could have been in the Pet SHop on Kookyboro and she could have been in the Pet Shop on Crazy Grove.

Open the book and click the tab with the blobe on it. Pick a name you like that doesn't have a red light (red means its full of toons already). So like click "Gigglyham" and your toon will jump in a hole and go to that server. It will look the same as where you just left. Then your friend can click "Gigglyham" and go there also and then you will be on the same game server finally.

Hope you figure it out! Have fun!
