Running in a window.

How do you run this in a window? I read the tutorial on how to do it. But I can't edit a EXE. Hook a mofo up. LOL 'm tired of rolling around the room on this chair to use IRC on another computer.

Huh? Who called?

Just goto the Downloads section and get TTwindow.zip - it's full of shortcuts that let you run TT in all manner of ways. including in a window.

Do what I do.

Install a KVM Switch and just change back and forth from one machine to another. :P

Just make certain your toon is in a safe place first, or you're liable to come back to it being beaton upon by bad 'ol cog's.

KVM=Keyboard/Video/Mouse switch. It allows two or more computers to share the same keyboard, monitor (video) and mouse...

ooo! Nice! I never knew there was such a thing.

Any suggestions on where to buy/brand name? I'd like one for 3-4 PC's.

KVM Switch

I use one to switch between my desktop and a laptop in a docking station and its really nice. Most of the larger electronics supply catalogues and stores have them in different configurations. Mine is just for 2 pc's but Ive seen them for as many as six. The upside is that it frees deskspace if you run multiple computers and is cheaper than buying another monitor. The downside is you can only view and type on one computer at a time and there is a noticible delay before the monitor synchs when switching computers. Most have a button for selecting which computer your monitor, keyboard, and mouse are controlling and some can be set with a hotkey combination to switch as well. On mine I have noticed that the trackball fine movement contral isnt as precise as the other system and seems to be something possibly due to the extra cabling length required. One source is Computer Discount Warehouse (www.cdw.com) but most of the national mail order companies carry them.

In addition to all the Scrat said above, be aware that you're looking at a fairly decent $$ amount for a KVM switch that is capable of handling 4 computers at once.

And, wow.... actually, I just found one on Pricewatch made by D Link that says it's for 4 compute3rs and it's under $100. So I guess it is rather reasonable after all! :-)

Iggie! You use pricewatch! You even more uber than I thought!

EVERYONE: use pricewatch.com

4 port KVM can be had for around $50. I bought 4 a couple of weeks ago for a client. But I don't think Spiffy was looking for a KVM, rather he just wants to know how to keep from alt-tabbing his monitor to death.
