Trap or Drop?
Just completed the #6 Gag Track task, but I haven't decided yet on which gag to go with. Does anyone have a preference? I just got to Lure 5, would Trap be a better gag for me? By the way, do you have to set a trap before you lure, or can you lure then trap? I know that Drop has high damage, but also has a high miss rate. Let me know what you think...

Trap/Drop is more personal preference although trap is better used when grouped with others. The reason I state that is when soloing its necessary to trap one turn then lure the next turn or later and each turn your likely to be hit from cogs without anyone to give toonup. Trap must be set before lure if playing solo however in a group one can lure while the other uses trap.
Drop to me lends itself better for solo since it dosent require another gag to work, however it has low accuracy so it misses a lot. Drop dosent work on lured cogs as it falls harmlessly behind them.

I prefer Drop over Trap most of the time. In your case I would choose Trap. Since your getting it last, I think you'll have more fun building Trap. Both do about equal damage.

My first toon had trap and it rocked. However, my second toon has drop and I think it rocks even more. Once you get past the low-level drop frustrations, I think you'll be happier with drop.
Why? It's the only gag that can take out a higher-level cog in one shot. For example, you can destroy a level 4 cog with a level 3 drop. No other gags can do this without a lure tossed into the mix. Because of this, high-level drops are much more effective when you're soloing. As an added bonus, you get 3 grand pianos instead of 2 TNTs once you reach level 6. Sweet!

I prefer to lure than to trap...but I'm gonna give trap a try, I know I would rather carry both trap and lure , just having trap makes you too dependent on other toons to lure and I don't like telling others what to do.
Drop isn't so bad really if you stick to the level of cog it's designed to hit, if I try and drop an anvil on a level 7 it will miss , if I drop it on a level 4, it works. I do like the fact that I can take out a cog in one hit with drop and still get experience points for it, the others gags won't give you points if the gag is overkill.

Trap always seemed better to me. I've experienced both but have neither. Drop seems to miss a whole lot until you get a really high level on it. Trap builds teamwork a little better. It depends on if you like fighting in a group or fighting alone better.

With Max, I chose drop. What an annoyingly frustrating time that was. Lots of misses. It definitely gets better as you go higher in skill, but it was the slowest track by far for me. When I started with drop, I used a LOT of gags just to get
With Scooter, I'm doing trap and it's much faster. Even when I solo, I can get trap to work because I did lure as well. Of course, I take damage on the "trap" round because there's no one with me to lure.

Thanks...
I ended up picking Drop because I realized that the level 6 Trap you can only carry 2 of, and I like the high damage of Drop. I don't mind soloing on low lvl cogs to increase it. What I'm having problems with is increasing my Toon-up. I try to go around helping low level toons, but because of the apprentice and elder tasks, it's difficult to find any that aren't already being helped.

You can only carry 3 of all level 6 gags. But you can carry 7 of the level 5 gags.
