U need to turn it on it says: penelope has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.

Actually the accounts have been modified recently due to younger members sharing too much information about themselves.

I was wondering what was required so I can post new threads to the board? I just opened my account on Fri(11/7). Is there a prerequisite # of posts I need to make first? I've found it difficult to ask questions I've had because there weren't many, if any, thread open that related to anything I needed help with. I'd also like to start getting people I've played with in game as sfs, but without the ability to post a thread in Secret Swapping this is difficult at best.

Kid Bugs outlined the changes in the usergroup system in this thread... Changes to Toontown Central Usergroups. I realize this was before you joined so you may not have seen it (KB, sticky?) As it states, the moderators will look over the posts of the "registered" members & change them to "full members" if they seem that they understand the rules of TTC. From your post it doesn't seem like it will be long before you are promoted.

As for your concerns about asking questions it's OK to go off-topic in a post in the "Tips, Tactics & Questions" forum on occasion. Secret swapping is another matter... perhaps you can look for toons you know in game by searching for their names in the search system. Then, look at their profile & email, AIM, Yahoo or whatever option is available to them. Good luck!

What is a Noobie Toon? It's where you go to members then go to the V's and go to VolleygirlSwirl and in Status it says Noobie Toon? What does that mean?
