The update notes on test did not give a date when it will be released to open. Sunce there are some glitches with the graphics and all of the species of fish and rod types havent been added yet my guess is a month or more. From what ive tried so far its fun but the shopkeepers might make things a little too easy unless the reward exp is reduced but its a nice touch for those that dont have friends to help them. I havent tested this in any detail yet as its past 1AM local time but ill post more discoveries as I try the new additions in detail tomorrow. I do expect that the test popularion will soar now that test has some new content added.

As a side note I thought it was funny seeing Lil Oldman actually helping toons for a change

Every 10 different species of fish returned to the Pet Shop Clerk rewards you 1 LP to a max of 5. Fishing takes a little time to get the hang of it. By the time you catch your 10th species you should be able to hit the bubbles about 50% of the time. The smaller the pond the greater the chance of catching an old boot.
I've caught enough old boots to outfit an army!!!

Minnie's is sure different looking. No more merry-go-round. HQ is moved towards the drums and the pond is where the merry-go-round used to be.

I hope the shopkeepers are kept to a minimum. I don't like the way they change the game. I know this is the test version and there will be a price to pay for their use. Right now it's too easy. They lure or toon-up.

Lots of bugs on this update. I imagine this will be a nightmare on open....

Franz Neckvein toon cogs!

The shopkeepers come, do their thing, then leave after a gracious bow or curtsey.

Flippy juggles! Woohoo!!
Lil Oldman lures with goggles.
Professor Pete uses a foghorn. The cogs attack me if they don't blow up!
Barnacle Bessie drops a piano.
Franz Neckvein toons the cogs!! He uses pixie dust on them, but they don't turn green. LoL!!
Soggy Nell uses pixie dust to help, but misses. Must be a bug.
Melody Wavers uses lipstick, but misses. Must be a bug.
Clerk Clara puts out a trap door.

Woot!!

Thanks for the screenshots - a taste of what's to come (maybe) when it hits open.

As for the SOS, can you call any one of those toons from any location in game? Like, if you're in DD, you can call Lil Old Man from TB? Just wondering. Maybe I didn't read the notes closely enough, only 3.5 hours of sleep after a too-late night of tooning...
