Beanfests

I havent seen a finalized time and place (or places) for the beanfest.

I suggested to my friends that we just setup a private beanfest and whoever wants to join, can.

I was thinking sometime this thursday morning in TTC at the Gazebo, Nutty Hills District. Around 7AM-ish (Mountain Time). I'll be on TTC forums before then to check suggestions, but it will pretty much be sometime thursday morning.

This may be early for most of you, but this is after I get off from work.

I need beans on some of my little toons (they are lazy bums), and I have about 4 phrases on one toon, and 3 on another (even some 600's WOOT!!). My SF says she has tons of beans. (I wonder if she has gas?)

If you go, please look for the following toons.....

Queen Zowie Bananasplat (Blue Cat)
Lady Gwen Dynosplat (Green Cat)
Kitty Kasper (Black Cat)

There are a few more, but these are the ones I can think of now.

Sounds like a great idea. I'd love to join your beanfest. I think one of my toons has a bean phrase so I can contribute as well accept.

Oh and if a toon says "Wait a minute", "I'll be right back" it probably means they are changing toons, and you should wait for them to get back before releasing any beans.

Oh well, some toons showed up so I gave out all my beans. My sf still has some, so we will wait a few more minutes

Yea, not many turned up... Even in the "busy" district there wasnt that many toons... maybe 15-20 max.

I gave out all my phrases, but my sf still has some I believe.

We are considering doing it maybe once a month, or if we can get more participants, maybe every monday at about same time as the Tuesday beanfests used to be.

I was ALSO considering having people schedule releases. Ummm... hard to explain...

Like toon A would release every 5 minutes, but if Toon A isnt availble Toon B or "backup" would do it. That way there wouldnt be much haphazard releasing with loong pauses of nothing. Maybe on the lines of a CCG schedule, but in minutes not hours. IDK, sorry I cant explain it well.

If we do make a new scheduled beanfest and there are a lot of toons interested, I will make a new thread with Time (same as old BF), day, place, and location.

Please post your suggestions, and if you would like to participate. Like I said, this is still in the works, until we can iron out the details.

Having scheduled releases sounds like a really great idea. Maybe we could have a list of toons who have bean phrases each week posted on a dedicated thread or something like that, because I don't always have beans to give away and other times I have loads, lol.

If lots of people get interested backup districts could be bought in the same as with the CCG so if toons can't get into the first district they could post in a thread that the first district is full, I can't think of any other way right now. Or have some of the donating toons already at the backup district ready for the overspill of toons from the first district.

I'm willing to help anyway I can, I really miss the beanfests too.

you need to make it later like 4:00pm central so everyone is out of school at 7:00AM mountian I'm at school or schuel it on the weekend
