Yes, he makes a noise right as he is about to jump. Make sure your sound effects are turned on. I've never paid attention to what he looks like right before he jumps, so there may be visual clues but I always just go by the sound he makes.

It would be nice if they added the "alarm" warning for the VP like we get for the CJ. If you're standing too far back you can't hear the "woosh" before the jump.

You dont really have to know before he jumps. As long as you jump before he lands you'll be fine. Just pay attention.

Yes, he makes a sound, not sure about watching him either, just you see him squat then jump, but I have a friend who is a Holly 50 and has never been able to jump. It is her computer. We have kept her alive and fought all the way!
So, maybe your computer a possibility? Maybe sound effects are off or turned down? Maybe also there are Ghost Jumps, where the game skips and everyone is on the ground -10. Check your RAM or memory.

Look at other toons aronud you. WHen they jump U jump. Or always face the Vp OR...ur outta luck.

Yeah...Not having sound really does get unlucky. But you can tell when the VP's going to make his next move.

This is just an animation error - A small one, no doubt. You know how he moves his body around, left-to-right? Well sometimes, the animation (After attacking the toons) will cut a little bit. This means he's about to do something, like jump.

It's not very usefull if your not in front of the VP - From far away, it's kinda hard to see... (heh...I ryhmed. )
